What I really like about this outdoor heater is that it’s able to be controlled via the app, using a smart phone or being added to your smart home devices. I like that it makes me feel safer, knowing that I can turn off my heater really from anywhere and be able to do so with confidence which definitely gives me peace of mind. I like the size of this outdoor space heater, I like that it’s big enough to completely heat up my deck/patio space, and I know in the winter my dogs are gonna love being able to go to the restroom outside, knowing that the heater is there on the patio. I like that it hangs from the ceiling. I was just completely saved so much space and it just provides so much great heat beaming down versus having to come off the floor. I like that this space heater has two lights, one on each end that can also be controlled with your app or is the remote that was included, and This also provides me with safety when I’m walking outside in the dark or my dogs are outside using the restroom. I like that it wasn’t so hard to install, we had our friend that’s an electrician come out and wire it securely and safely and he really liked this heater, wouldn’t stop talking about all the smart features it had so I’m excited to put this to use. I like that the heat that comes out is solid and uniform and can be increased or decreased with the remote or the app and if you’re not even using the heater in the seasons where it’s hot, you can definitely leave the space heater off and use the work lights that will provide some light when you need it in place of the heater instead. So I like that this is a very versatile heat lamp, so I like that I won’t have to put this heater away in the warmer seasons, because I’m going to be utilizing the work lights. I also like that heater is priced in the average price range when compared to other hanging space heaters that have similar features and qualities found here on Amazon. I think the price is fair, especially given that this is an upgraded smart l all the safety provides for it being a pretty big heater, I like that it has the lights and I know that from the quality and the feel of this heater, and that it’s made with really great quality pieces, and has been providing me wi

Great addition to our outdoor deck. Easy to install – just a couple of screws to mount it – and it puts out a good amount of heat. Not noticeably more than what you’d get from a normal space heater, but at 1500W it is what you’d expect and, probably, as good as it gets. So, in all, we’re pleased (and nice and warm out on our deck)!

Just bought and put up. Light came on but no red light or heat coming on. Tried again then lights wouldn’t work. For some reason they sent two remotes. Remotes bad design as the screw is already stripped putting battery in. Not happy as it doesn’t work now sending back and trying a new one they are sending.

Unfortunately, mine arrived broken, probably because of bad delivery. It looks nice and would be easy to install with the provided hardware options, but it does not work due to it being broken. The lights do work though and the remotes work, the lights are bright. Too bad the heater isn’t working.

I ordered the Sundate Outdoor Patio Heater for those cooler nights when we are hanging out on the patio or front porch and I am glad I did.
The unit comes well packed and includes the heater itself, manual, brackets, dust cover and TWO remotes. I haven’t hung it up yet because I am deciding if I want to hardwire it or not but I did test it plugged in. As soon as I turned it on it was almost INSTANTLY hot! I know it says 1 second heat but, let’s be honest, the proof is in the pudding and this one definitely proved itself. There are multiple levels of heat so you can choose which one is right for you rather than just be stuck with a single heat level. There are two lights but I probably won’t use them since we have plenty of lights to use already. There is also an app you can use, but with two remotes, I don’t think it’s necessary.
The unit feels VERY well made. It has good weight to it and the metal feels heavy duty. It can be mounted to a wall with the brackets or you can hang it, which is better in my opinion as it will allow the unit to be moved easily. While it says it is waterproof (rating of IP34 means it can stand water spray from any direction), I am not certain I would leave it out fully exposed to rain and snow. I would rather play it safe vs. having my heater fried. Under an awning, gazebo or porch roof, it will be perfectly fine though.
At $190, it is pricey, but with the quality build and the functionality, along with the SUPER fast heating, I think it is worth it if you like extending your porch/patio time into the cooler weather.

Really nice-looking outdoor ceramic heater that can be hung from the ceiling or mounted to the wall. We mounted it to the wall of our back patio, and it works very well, heats up quickly and can be controlled from the unit itself, a remote control or an app. Of these options the app controls are the most intuitive and convenient. It has been too warm here to use it frequently so far but now that it’s cooling down, we’re excited to be able to hang out on the patio and be warm this winter. The lights are also surprisingly bright and a really nice feature on an outdoor heater.

I have it in my garage on chain, but did a little DIY with the hardware and extra bits so I can swap it under the Gazebo.
It’s been in an indirect rain twice, and still testing fine.
It’s still 80 degrees at 9pm, but that won’t last here in Texas. And I’m ready!
The lights are brighter than I expected.
The only thing I don’t care for is the display panel that indicates what’s going on with P#. I would prefer h/m/l or dots next to a settings label. Things like hold timer for 5 seconds to turn on lights is NOT intuitive. Better controls, would be 5.
Remote is better than the control panel slightly.
The app is the best control method.
