Starting off with the cons, this thing has gotten quite loud. It was silent at first but gradually got louder and louder. I live in an apartment and was looking forward to having a quiet workout I can use frequently without bothering anyone. But I can hear the squeaking even though noise canceling headphones with loud music. I’m worried it’ll only get worse. Will update if it does.
Been using this every day for a little over a month. I use it in 15 minute intervals as instructed for a total of 30min to an hour a day. Going over 15 minutes causes it to heat up a lot so I wait for it to cool down before getting back on. Definitely works the legs and is great if you have a sedentary lifestyle. I don’t feel much in my core or glutes, though leaning forward while on it targets them more. The resistance is good, gets easier the more you use it. I love the clock has an *active* timer.

This takes minimal space and will make your legs burn after 5 minutes. The twisting action helps to work out the love handles as well. It’s a little hard to keep your balance but fine after you get into a rhythm. Best to stand in from of a desk or counter just in case.

Awesome stepper. Gives me a better workout than the treadmill. Really works the quads though so be ready. I go for 30-40 minutes and yes it does get a little wooshy and will creak a little but keep in mind it’s designed to go for 15 min or so.
I’ve been using it for a month and have had no major issues. The LCD screen did come broken, but Amazon removed the issue. I kept the damaged unit since I wasnt planning on using the LCD screen. I use apps and devices to track my progress.
Highly recommend this stepper and I haven’t even used the bands with it. I’ll occasionally use hand weights (10lbs) and that’s a real workout. Not sure what the resistance is on the bands.

I originally purchased a different brand of stepper and returned it within one week because the hydraulics on it gave out. Given that the stepper at the gym is my all time favourite piece of cardio equipment, I was committed to trying to find another so I started to research yet again. I have a couple of other pieces from the Sunny brand and normally I look at the number of reviews before seriously considering the item but for this item in particular I was very curious what the difference was between it and the lower priced one of the same brand. What I realized quickly, and had not of had I not had the first one, is in the size of the stepper itself. This unit is bigger – not in an obtrusive, too big way, but in that it provides a lot more stability. The foot pedals/plates are also substantially bigger and the weight limit is higher. For many this may not seem like a big deal, but it does make a difference in how the hydraulics work. Basically even if you are well under the weight limit, you will find that it will offer more resistance. I did not buy the machine for the computer (useless on any of these machines) or the resistance bands however I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that the resistance bands are actually short enough to use so I have been using them on occasion. The machine was beyond easy to “assemble” and it is easy to tell when I am adjusting the resistance simply by observing the cable. I have used this stepper pretty much daily for anywhere from 30-60 minutes at a time and it performs well. If it is within your budget, I would strongly recommend this particular model over others. Even if it only lasts me a few months, for $100, I will be satisfied as it is a great, small, quiet, piece of home equipment that provides a good workout. One last thing….the range of height on the pedals is impressive and does the trick. It’s not the same as the fancy units at the gym, but those also come with a pricetag of upwards of $2-3K. I am so far very impressed with this brand considering the price point and keeping expectations relative to the price.

I had good balance, sturdy and tight cord to promote toning. Can adjust the tightness of the cord to make feet pedals move easier, but not too much. Tension is still there even on a lose cord connection. I felt muscles working and soreness the next day, after one day of use and 2000 steps. I’m excited to add this to my daily exercise regime.

Excellent flawless condition! I paid less than half of the price for a “new” model. This hasn’t been used, the tag was still attached and it came with everything. The machine is wonderful. Very sturdy and foot pedals big enough for almost everyone. I love the slight twist when stepping. It gets my glutes better than plain stepping. I highly recommend this! I will mention it is a bit hefty to carry around. Not an issue for me but may be for others if you plan to move it often.

I bought this “Like New” on Amazon Resale. Might as well said New. It is in perfect condition with the exception of the box. First 5 minutes on it and my outer thighs are already tired. It’s easy to use, easy on the knees and I like that the arm bands aren’t super long as I am short. The foot pedals are a good size and it feels sturdy and smooth.

After consistent almost daily use I can say the fact it is only useable 10-15 min before overheating is a definite downside, and the squeaking of this thing has become unbearable at this point. If you wear headphones it’s not so bad, but it would still be nice to workout longer than 10-15 min at a time because doing 4-5 x intervals a day is quite inconvenient. I will get a walking pad instead, but do be aware if purchasing.
