I like the way the bow feels when I am holding it and drawing back on it. I haven’t got to take it out and shoot it yet, but it seems like it is very powerful. I got the 40lbs bow because I haven’t shot one in a long time and wanted to be sure I would be able to draw it back. The quality appears very good and seen a few minor details that some customers said they would like to have done in their reviews, and the company listened to those reviews and made the minor improvements. This tells me that the company is all about customer satisfaction, and that’s something that’s being lost in todays world, so, I am impressed by that. I’m glad that I looked at reviews on many different bows and this one had almost all positive reviews, and a lot of them, so I feel very confident and proud of my purchase and glad that I took my time looking and researching many before making a final decision. I’m getting more than my money’s worth and that’s saying a lot. The look of the bow assembled is much nicer than seeing it in pictures and I like the weight of it. It’s distributed well which adds even more to the comfort and feel overall. Mine came with a good string, added materail on the parts of the limbs that attach to the risers to compensate for the slight vibration some customers mentioned in their reviews, a bow stringer and the arrow guide that I wont be using because I dont want to get used to using accessories that could get damaged or adjusted because I never used anything like that back when I used bows and arrows before, so, I will most likely get some material made to put on the top of the grip where the arrow lines up at where the rest would go, just to reduce friction and provide a smooth release of the arrow and learn how to be accurate using that off the shelf method that’s dependable and durable and should be good that way.

I bought this bow for my husband as a Father’s day gift. He loves it so much that he decided to write a review about it so this is his review! I have been shooting compound and traditional bows for twenty five years. I hunt with compound bow but I love shooting my traditional bows as well. I have not been able to shoot any of my bows for about year and half. I wanted to buy a beginner bow with a light draw weight to help my shoulder muscles get back in to shape again. I asked my wife to buy the 30 LB recurve from Top Archery. I have to admit that I am extremely pleased with this bow and I highly recommend it. I silenced the limbs by putting a square piece of thin rubber between the riser and the limb on both upper and lower attachment pockets. I also used a cotton ball to fill the small pocket in the riser under the limb. If you don’t do this important step that small space will act as a resonator and allow the string vibration to be amplified! I also put mole skin under the string towards the limb tips to reduce string slap. Added a couple of wool home made silencers to the string (after a good waxing). The arrow rest that comes with it is very cheap so I did not even use it. I used a Bear archery “Weather rest” and had to trim it a little to make it fit good. Put some mole skin on the shelf under the rest and placed the knock on the string about 1/4 inch above center of T square. Set the brace height at 7.5 inches. I shoot a heavy 630 grn arrow. Let me tell you, this bow set up as I mentioned shoots extremely well, quiet and amazingly accurate. Please keep in mind that this draw weight is not for hunting and just for shoulder muscle exercising and form retention. For trad hunting, I use a 52 lb Bear Grizzly and it hits like a sledge hammer! If you are a beginner and like to get in to trad archery or even as a experienced trad archer looking for a light bow with a light draw weight, you should really check out Top Archery equipment. For the price, quality and performance they are very hard to beat. I promise you that you will not be disappointed ! Sorry for the long winded review and hope this review helps some of my archery brothers. God speed.

Sono soddisfatto!! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo..

Surprisingly good bow for the price! I wasnt expecting nuch honestly for this price range, but its well built and shoots straight. Just be sure to put the proper amount of twist in the string or you’ll be shooting around 45lbs instead of the full 50…this is not covered in the instructions, but it’s important to set the correct brace height of 7.4″. I’m actually contemplating ordering a 30 and 40lb version as well for target shooting.
The only negative i have on the bow is that a normal stick on arrow rest, wont fit on this riser properly and the metal riser prevents double sided tape from holding anyway. You have to either use the arrow rest it came with or buy another aftermarket type that bolts on. The bow is drilled and tapped for a mounted quiver, stabalizer and other accessories.

This bow kit comes with everything you need, like a bow stringer, bow string, limbs, and handle riser section. The design is very modular, and the frame of the bow is made of metal which is very durable.
For the price it is a good deal.

For the price this is such a solid recurve. Now comes with a storage bag that holds all the pieces so you can pack it away, and use as quiver when assembled which I like. Assembly is easy only needing the provided Allen key. The bow does come with an arrow guide but it’s nearly useless as it will break within your first 100 shots.
If you’re getting into recurve archery this is a great place to start! Recommend you get an arm brace to help with string slap, a finger tip glove for callous prevention and some knocking points to help you improve your consistency.

Well made….The paint job is ok…They do smudge up along the limbs….The riser paint job does not appear to be extremely durable….But still good for the deal….I am a very strong man…When I first pulled it back(string)…I knew it was over 50#….But for me the extra draw wt. was advantageous……But if you are weaker? This could be detrimental…Perhaps my bow was an anomaly? The accessories are very nice….The carry case, bow stringer and flip rest are very good…..The bow has very slick lines and is ruggedly built…Skeletonized aluminum riser is attractive and tough….The limbs a perfectly straight and the over all feel is very good…The bow is loud…It require string silencers for hunting…Any recurve that is 72# will be loud because the speed is so fast…..I have been shooting archery for 34 years and give it a thumbs up…This bow is better for intermediate or advanced archers…

Very very durable, easy to put away and reassemble. Only downside is that its huge
