I live in Florida and as such, have some rain to deal with. My new Audi A5’s stock wipers lasted about 2 weeks before the streaking and noise required action. I ordered these Ceramic Trico wipers and find they work well. The only issue: you have to Speak Trico and not English to follow the installation instructions. Once you put your mindset to that of an engineer who doesn’t see the light of day often enough to speak “normal English” vs. “Engineering Shorthand,” the short documentation provided makes sense and the install goes smooth. I have to admit the first one took almost 30 mins to install and I AM an Engineer!!!! Doh! Only time will determine the efficacy over the long term. Even though I am a Bosch ICON fan boy, I have to admit these are pretty decent.

Even though Amazon claims that this will fit the updated (yoke) Tesla Model S LR, it does not. I have returned it free of charge (not the case with the longer 26″ blade)

I have only one concern that may not affect others; the blade on the right side of the vehicle was about 1/8 or maybe 1/16 of an inch too long. The blade sticks the windshield frame. I will need to take a small portion of the blade off with a drenell tool or clipper.
I have no clear idea if others will have this problem. We live remotely and I know of no one else with this vehicle model: Mercedes GLK 250, 2013.
Other than this issue, the blade performs very favorably.

Great initial quality. Upgraded to the silicone for better lifespan, barely lasted 4 months before streaking badly. Attempted to clean the blades thinking it would help and ended up making them perform worse. I’ll still with the mid level ones that have served me well in the past and not pay the premium next time.

The last wipers I got chattered and left streaks from the day i bought them. This pair is just a clean whoosh sound and the only streaks are the little bits of water that escape the tip of the blades on the down stroke. Will update if i have any longevity issues but I have a feeling they will last.
Cons – My only con so far is the price which is a bit high. I understand they are built to last longer than natural rubber blades but i can’t image it costs twice as much to manufacture silicone blades vs natural rubber. I’d happily pay maybe 33% maybe even 50% more but a full twice the price of standard blades seems high in my opinion. If you can find these on sale for $40-45 That’s a five star product, at over $60 I have to argue that’s a four star value.
