Works fine for testing higher voltages. Not tested on lower voltage circuits. Works similar to other brands but at a lower price. To turn the white light on/off lightly tap the light button. To turn the red laser pointer light on/off hold down the light button.

It works fine for detecting voktage. The beeper could be louder as its very week. Mine came with dead batteries so it has been on the shelf for quite a wile/

J’ai acheté ce produit parce que je fais des rénovations. Je change les vieilles prises de courant et interrupteurs ainsi que les luminaires qui datent de la construction de la maison. Ce testeur de tension m’aide dans cette tâche. Il est facile d’utilisation et fiable. Les batteries sont incluses. Un bip indique que l’appareil est fonctionnel lorsqu’on appuie sur le bouton power. L’appareil est muni d’un pointeur laser et d’une lampe torche pour les endroits peu éclairés. Un signal sonore et un voyant lumineux rouge indiquent la présence de courant. De plus, la forme de l’embout permet de le rentrer directement dans la prise avant de couper l’électricité et juste après. On n’est jamais trop prudent. Je le recommande.

A better way to fix strings of lights. A little difficult to learn to use but in the end, better than plugging light bulbs in and out for hours. With some experimentation, you become pretty good with it. Haven’t had to try it on walls to find wiring. Good bang for the buck. If you use it only once on a string of lights , worth the money.
