Used for 3 years outdoors to see cars around a bend. Has held up great with a semi-annual cleaning. One improvement would be a lock on the ball joint, otherwise it will shift in strong winds and has to be re-adjusted each time. Bungees have kept it sturdy but a lock on the joint would be useful. Would buy again.

At least if it’s a driveway where seeing the street or alley is problematic. It’s a great help in backing safely out of our driveway, and as you drive =away, you can glance back to make sure your garage door has gone all the way down, not been forgotten or a stray leaf blowing along hasn’t sent it back up again.
The mirror seems pretty tough and is very reflective. My only criticism of it is that its mount seems designed for indoor use only. Outside, the mount seems pretty flimsy, tho’ it has held up through some pretty impressive winds. I will be beefing up the mount before winter, or before some vandal decides to try to pull the whole thing down. Once it’s really secured, it will be great.

Has helped avoid collisions and increased visibility when pulling out of driveway. Easy to install and has lasted well. Strong winds can blow it slightly off of alignment, but easy to shift it back into the right angle for best visibility.

1. Very easy to install, bolted one side to a tree trunk and the other to the mirror.
2. Aligned the mirror (ball joint) once and it holds.
3. Was afraid the mirror being a large surface may get misaligned or sheared of in wind storms, but it has survived 2 heavy wind gusts without changing position!
4. Rain drops do not seem to cause problems or leave spots after they dry at least after 4 months of install
5. The mirror quality is very good, no weird distortions in the image.
6. Good field of view.
Conclusion: very good value for money, low price to pay for a far greater return on improved safety

If you’re on the fence whether or not to buy this 26″ mirror, don’t. Just buy it, you won’t regret it. I unfortunately have a 1 stall garage and despite my best attempts at keeping the area free of clutter, I still have anixety pulling into the garage with my race car since it’s front end is super long. Went thru a few listing here on Amazon and finally settled on this one. Just got done setting it up and it DOES the job, for the price and quality. My only complaint would be the bracket and mechanism in how it adjusts since it seems a bit flimsy, but seems to hold itself in place/position well enough and gives in to pressure when adjusting the mirror in various directions. Set it to how you like it, and leave it alone. 10/10 would buy one again if I ever need to.

Light weight, solid hardware bracket with ball joint (bracket with screw and nut is easily removed to flip over or reverse direction). Good quality and view distance seemed 50 to 100 feet, for our purposes, which was at the intersection of 2 long driveways. Like another reviewer has said, it does not come with a bolt nut and screw, only a wide L shaped mounting bracket attached to a rotating ball joint. Update: after having this installed in our carport for a year and a half through all sorts of El Nino weather, I will say the mirror started to loosen it’s hold and slip out of position in the ball joint. All it took was tightening the screws about once or twice a year. It’s not a product quality issue but a weather (wind) issue.

I had a job to install a convex mirror at a bank so took a chance and ordered this. It worked flawlessly and was easy to install.

The mirror was an easy install, and appears to be sturdy for the mountain road it was installed by. The problem we had was with the shipping packaging. The flaps on the box were just stapled together, so in the shipping process, the staples were pulled loose, and one side of the box was open. (someone somewhere had put a few pieces of tape on it to reseal it) The bottom flap, while still connected together, was loose and had gaps in it. We had the mirror, and the mounting bracket in the box, but that was it. There was not nut for the mount on the mirror to attach to the mounting bracket. Not sure if there were to be enclosed in the box any instructions, or mounting hardware to attached it to a post, tree, etc, but there was none. Fortunately my shop had extra hard ware that fit the bolt, and bolts to attached it to the tree where it was needed. I am glad that a 40 mile round trip did not have to take place to get these missing parts. This issue needs to be looked into by the shipper.
