This is a pure Vortex product. Good quality, good frame, and excellent optics for an above entry level user. Vortex has an excellent reputation and customer service to support their products. They pride themselves on standing by their products and customer support. The frames is practical and easy to grasp, even in harsh conditions or when wearing gloves. I’ve equipped mine with the tripod adapter and I can say it is not a bad choice to have as an option. With these optics it is difficult to focus and hold steady at the same time. Hence, the tripod adapter. I’ve used it ‘hand-held’ and had no difficulty, but wasn’t looking at a particular subject or object. It will do that but with some learning. A good entry level optic that will go further when needed.

These binoculars are worth every penny. They perform exceedingly well under low light conditions. We use them for whitetail hunting and really appreciate the compactness, the harness for carrying them, the low light performance, the fog resistance, and the clarity these offer. We purchased the 12×50 and would do the same again, gives you a great view of the swamp monster from across the field! Vortex also has an incredible lifetime warranty. Highly recommended.

Binoculars are pretty good. A little heavy but that is a trade-off for higher power. I don’t like the soft case they come in. The binoculars don’t fit in it unless you collapse the eye pieces which is cumbersome. The covers on the the front lenses don’t flop down enough and obstruct the view so I had to remove them from the binoculars; so, more stuff in your pockets in the field.

These are great binoculars for the price and probably the highest magnification you could realistically use without having a tripod. I’m glad I purchased them. The higher magnification is a great complement to my 8×42 binoculars. Objects appear about 50-60% larger than 8×42 but the trade-off is your field of view is reduced by that much as well.

Les plus : jumelles vraiment top on voit clairement de pré comme de loin pour ceux qui aiment regarder très loin paysages oiseaux vraiment très loin sont être vraiment surpris par la netteté de l’image c’est comme si vous étiez juste à côté même par temps nuageux possible de faire un réglage vraiment fin de très bonnes fabrication carcasse et étanchéité bien construit et pour finir savoir quels sont garanties à Vie devrait vous guider dans votre achat !
Les moins qui sont vraiment dérisoire
Je trouve le système d’accroche pour les porter un peu trop compliqué une manière plus simple aurait été la bienvenue !
Ensuite un peu lourde mais personnellement ne pose pas vraiment de problème dans un sac à dos où autre ! Ensuite pour regarder vraiment loin surtout en 12×50 il faut prendre l’habitude de rester immobile pour avoir une meilleure vision de très loin mais c’est vraiment pour des petits détails !

These binos have been awesome, In my opinion as good as my brothers $250 vortex binos. The image is amazingly clear even on foggy days. My only complaint is the eye relief adjustments are super easy to bump and causes them to shrink back down. I have pretty long eyelashes so on the foggy cold rainy days it causes some minor fogging on the lens. It’s minor and I’m very happy with them regardless. I also like the fact they are a lifetime warranty since Things happen in the field.
I recommend these to anyone looking for a good pair of binoculars for scouting, bird watching or otherwise.

12×50 Diamondback HD is awesome for bird watching, low light use is great as advertised and seeing into and through the shadows is beyond belief. Focus is quick and the FOV is enough to easily find the birds. These replaced a 15 year old Nikon Travelite IV 12×25 which developed double vision, no warranty from Nikon or LL Bean without the sales receipt and original warranty card which I didn’t save. The Vortex no-nonsense warranty is there if I ever need it, no registration or receipt required. I also bought a 10×42 Diamondback HD and they are a bit smaller in size which makes them a good fit for my wife. Both pair are just fantastic and almost like looking in 3D. The case is padded and a good size to fit the glasses but I don’t see us strapping it to our chest. We just use the strap with the glasses. Lens covers are functional and the flip down object lens is nice to have. A great feature is the adjustable eyecup on the ocular lens that allows you to press them against your eyes to reduce the shake. A top notch pair of binoculars, the best I have ever owned or used and at a price that is affordable.
