Have several of these backpacks…and this particular seller offers the best of features and design compared with others at this price point…two suggestions for improvement. First, reinforcement at the top attachment point of the shoulder straps…In my case, I added a larger piece of heavier materal on the inside and doubled the area and amount of securing stitching, then added “seam sealer to prevent water intrusion.
Second, the shoulder staps have thin padding, so aftermarket pads that attach with “velcro” loops are required for any degree of comfort ($10-$12 for a pair) so the adjusted price with these improvements would probably be more, but well worth the utility they provide.

Okay so the price is great if you don’t mind fixing things. My buckle for my left arm broke so i had to fixsthat with paracord. Had to sew strap loops on the straps cause they are super long. The velcro holding the side bags on ripped and i had to sew that back together. The matirials are good but the craftsmen ship is terrible. I plan to take this bag to every national park this year and i’m sure it will make it. I’m also sure ill have re stitched every square inch by then. Its a 40 dollar crafting project to re build your own bag. But once you fix it up its an awesome bag. Take it everywhere now! Probably cause i put so much work into fixing it it feels like its my baby! If i didn’t have to fix so much its 5 stars

The seller that contacted me previously had a different nodes of customer service. WINTMING has had bad reviews. In order for me to get said bag that was offered as reimbursement. I had to pad the review and change to star rating to a 5 out of 5.
I take back everything I said about “customer service,” and “business ethics.”
Furthermore, whe I purchased the bag In question, it was only $55.00. Why the sudden jump I do not have a clue. Do not purchase from this seller.

The buckles are weak as communion wine, can not hold more thakn 15 pounds and they let go where they fixed to the shoulder straps. stitching is flawed all over. On the inside, the material is cracking. folund out as I unfolded it. the best part is the tiny duffel bag that you can take on and off

This is probably the absolute worst backpack I’ve ever owned. I knew I wasn’t in for something as good as a name brand or even milsurp bag. Where do I even start?
This thing is made of the cheapest feeling material mankind has ever invented. It really feels like this thing is going to rip in half any minute. On the topic of things ripping in half, the stitching is the worst I’ve ever seen. Everything is single stitched and I feel like it’s going to burst open. Not to mention the ends of ALL the straps are loose, they’re not stitched together at all, so they just fall off if you put any weight on them.
On to the 3 pouches it comes with. I thought this was a nice touch at first so I wouldn’t have to go out and buy more pouches. This company is so cheap and lazy, not only are the MOLLE straps not even properly attached from the factory, but the two side pouches don’t even have a button, they’re just strips of velcro. Only the butt pouch features actual MOLLE straps with a solid snapping button.
On the top of the bag there’s just a random patch of velcro underneath the carry handle. Theres an inside pocket that looks like it perfectly fits a hydration bladder, but there’s no hole for the hose to go out of. Maybe I just got a bad one, but to me, it looks like the manufacturer is so lazy they don’t even bother punching a hole for a bladder hose.
The only thing positive I have to say about this bag is that there’s a lot of room in it…. But if you dare to use all that extra room this thing is just gonna fall apart, so what’s the point?
This backpack is the result of pure greed and laziness. They cut every single corner possible. It’s a shame they allow trash like this to leave the doors, because this thing has a great design and a lot of potential. Save your money, spend an extra $20 and get something that’ll last.

Well, I bought 4 of these style of packs, 3 to make into bug out bags, this one as a replacement for not having what I wanted but now in use as my toolbag. I’ve got no major complaints, but can think of some things which would improve it.
First is two loops on the bottom. There seems to be no reason for them. Used as lashing points for a sleeping bag, the bag will just swing and unbalance you. And there are no corresponding points to secure it to have the sleeping bag attack to the bottom. So I had to improvise an attachment where the waist belt is attached.
Next is the fact there is some wasted space on it, with no zipper to open a decorative section. If there was a zipper, maps and documents could be stashed in it, leaving the maps and documents safe and out of the way.
Next, there is no padding on the waist belt. This makes it only suited for short stretches of time. An accessory set of pads would help. Also the waist belt is relatively short. Thankfully the waist belt for the detachable waist bag can be adapted to increase the length of the belt.
As another reviewer mentioned, the port for the drinking tube isn’t cut open and I had to slice it open myself. The two side accessory bags attach with Velcro, which wouldn’t be that bad, but it doesn’t hold well.
Last, the secondary compartment is about half the size of the main compartment. Good for clothes and other such items.
So, good for a Bug Out Bag, not too good for long through hikes.. Dont use this if you need it to be rugged and in the field, but its okay to use for school or work. I use this now for my IT tools.

The bag has good storage and I like the compartmentalized aspects of it but unfortunately the it came defective. The clip on the bottom of the right shoulder strap does not sit in the receiver entirely which causes it to randomly come undone. When that happens, the whole pack swings off your back to one side and, if you are packing for a big hike, is enough to spin you. As other have said the zippers are a little rough but I was willing to look past that, but the backpack spontaneously becoming a courier bag is not something I can ignore.
EDIT: Increased the rating solely based on the service, WintMing has since contacted me and is making this right. When the bag arrives, I will post again and leave my review. The bag is everything I was looking for so I hope it was just a one time issue with the buckle.

This was bought in 2022 and has been used a few times since. Padding on the shoulder straps is thin and, with any type of load, the bag becomes uncomfortable after only a short time of wearing. The back is firm and uncomfortable. The material is thin and the sewing and thread is lower quality and, in my case, the bag started coming apart after only a half dozen uses. The bag is also sized for a very small-framed person. I am only 5-10 and the waist strap is about 5 inches above my waist – in order to get it proper, the shoulder straps need to be loosened too much, which then distributes the weight too low on my back. A cheap bag that was priced way too high for what you get, and that I tried to like but soon found to be unusable.

A bit heavy, but durable. Zippers are very stiff. Lots of good pocket placement. Layout is well thought out and straps padding is good. Modular design works great. Straps w/ buckles on the bottom of bag for gear would be a great addition.
