I bought these adhesive bandages because I had a stress fracture in my ankle. I’ve tried cloth ones, but I found I had to stretch them out so much to get them to lay flat that it ended up being too tight. These worked so much better, although the 2-inch width was a little too narrow for wrapping an ankle. I bought some 3-in ones that worked better for my ankle. Recently though, I had carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands at the same time. I had used the 3-in ones on my hands but they were so uncomfortable and scratchy. I had two rolls of these adhesive bandages left from my first purchase. I took them out and wrapped my hands in them and not only did they fit better but they were so much softer. I wish I had taken them out to use sooner! I’m getting my stitches out tomorrow, but out of frustration with the other brands I had tried I ordered an overnight delivery of these. Just now when I put them on my hands, I was so relieved that I came straight here to write a review. Maybe on an ankle or a knee the softness of the material wouldn’t matter, but on hands or fingers or wrists or elbows it makes a huge difference that it’s soft because the skin on those parts is so much more sensitive.

They’re great for a quick hold, from a slight injury to holding gauze on.
They’ve come in handy plenty. We’ve had to give some out during soccer and kids at the campground.

Nice coban-style wrap! SO much cheaper than any store I’ve been to!! So worth buying the bulk box. I have kept several rolls for home use, with 4 kids. And then I put some in our camper also. And sent some to grandmas house and camper. And with the bit of extra I sent it to our daycare, they were happy to be given some more since they sometimes use that on babies or little kids over bandaids so they can’t get them off and choke.

This is Coban by another name, it’s the best for fragile or sensitive skin that can’t withstand adhesive tape over the bandage! Coban it instead! Coban completely eliminates the need for any tape of any kind over the gauze bandage. Coban is self-adhesive, like velcro. It can also be used to replace an ace wrap, and again, it’s handy that it’s self-adhesive. It won’t rip your grandmother’s or your baby’s skin. Do you have a kid crying about the boo-boo? Let them pick the color and they’ll stop crying.
