This guitar is incredible for the price. A set neck, polished and finished jumbo frets out of the box, a REAL ROSEWOOD fretboard that doesn’t need moisturizing right away. Absolutely minimum setup out of the box. The pickups are incredible, too. You can go from saccharine sweet to throaty growl, and the dry switch adds so many tonal options. This guitar could EASILY be in the 800-900 dollar range. There’s a reason they fly off the shelves.

It’s a simple guitar, well made, and mine well setup! no carbon fiber steal frets other then that just as good as the standard! I had a standard to compare it with so,,,, old great guitars had NO carbon fiber and last longer the the players I have two 1983 Gibson’s an SG and a LP Jr no maple cap no no fiber ,no steal!
what is left is good playability and great sound ! oh yes no case … Look for he price its a great guitar!
If you have the money Shure get the standard., better resale value! But don’t expect that much of a difference !

This guitar definitely lives up to its reviews (and I looked at a lot of them). I was a little nervous buying online but it wasn’t available locally so I took a chance and am very happy I did. I cannot find anything to complain about. The Japanese care and quality shine through.
A big shout out to the staff at Cosmos for the condition the guitar arrrived in. Everything was as it was supposed to be – the setup was great and it was shipped within hours of me placing the order, even though it was just a few days before Christmas and Canada was in a deep freeze.
