Poor quality wood. The bottom broke out. It was very difficult to clean. My guinea pigs would not use the ramp to go to the top level. I believe it was too steep.

The appearance of the coop is nice, it was easy to build and light weight to move. Screws are tiny and not the best and the locks on the doors were flimsy and came bent already which was a disappointment but something easy to upgrade. Love that the top opens. If using for a chicken it deff is not big enough for more than 1-2 full size. Did close one side to provide more space for feeder and water as well as there is not a lot of under space. Would be perfect for a single bunny.

The hutch looks very nice once assembled but it is not quality. The ladder broke the first time bunny tried to go to the top level. It broke at the wood about 2 inches down from the hinges so I can not even try to salvage it. The locks are very flimsy and the grates on it are very thin. I’ll be replacing the locks and adding another layer of grating. I was deeply disappointed with this hutch. I will not purchase another from this manufacturer.

I know the description says it is for a rabbit, but we bought it to use it with some baby chicks. It worked great for quite some time until they got too big for the cage. It was perfect for what we needed to keep them segregated until they were big enough, very reasonable

Wood is very cheap and thin, instructions only have very bad pictures. It was easy enough for my daughter and I to put together but had to have my husband reinforce the bottom tray. When you put it together make sure that the two bars you put wheels into and flush with the outside of the house or else your bottom tray will not have anything to sit on! Nothing in instructions about this bc there are no words!! This would not survive outside in the weather either. Wood is too cheap.

This is a lightweight cage that is relatively easy to assemble – even without power tools as there are dowels and screws included.
The first thing to know – and this is in the product description and pictures, but we somehow missed it – is that the floor is basically a rubber mat. On the plus side that makes it really easy to lift up the entire cage and clean the mats as needed. The not so great thing is this is not anchored and we recently had high winds that made us more aware of the need to secure items down better. This is not that heavy a cage and we are trying to figure a way to secure it with tent posts and wire tethered to the cage. We also want to put a nicer floor down – maybe even real grass? If you have a meadow, this will sit really nicely over a natural grassy area – without the rubber mat.
So, although this is for the outdoors, it really needs to be in a location where wind will not blow it (and Miss Bunny) over…. or fixed to the ground.
The other thing we learned is that the while the wood is “real” wood – fir must be a lighter wood as this is not what we expected in terms of heavy duty – I actually think this would be a much better cage for indoors as it will fit in a regularly sized USA bedroom (10×10 and larger), it’s easy to move around, and it’s attractive.
We are in the process of finding a better location for this cage. The quality was good enough, the instructions were good for some one who prefers pictures rather than written instructions (there are none) and it’s a fun assembly project to do with kids. For the cost of this bunny house. we could all go out to a steak dinner – so to us the value is worth it to have something that lasts longer than a meal.
We will update with pictures once we secure the bunny house. In the meantime, Miss Bunny is still safe in the house with us. We’ll also water test it as it is supposed to water proof. I rated this product as 5 stars not because it is the best rabbit cage, but because the description and pictures are exactly what we received, the cage is good looking, and the quality is good enough to use in a non windy environment.

I do not recommend this 2 tiered rabbit hutch. The instructions are horrible,. There is a strong odor that you will need to let air out.
I have so many cracks in this wood it’s ridiculous.
The instructions are diagram only and even not clear. The bottom piece is not able to slide in because of this.
I have been disappointing when putting rabbit hutches together before, but this is hands-down the worst quality one I think I’ve ever gotten.
I can not recommend this. Keep shopping.

This is a very good looking cage with a lot of room for rabbits or guinea pigs. It was rough to assemble with a lot of parts but once we got it set up we really liked the way it looked.
The latches are decent but they’re so small that we sometimes make a mistake and don’t get them locked and when we come back the door is hanging open.
It just isn’t easy enough to clean because the other door doesn’t open. If they both opened them it would be a really great design.
