I like everything about this monitor. It is accurate both pulse and O2. The pulse meter has a display, similar to a EKG that seems more sensitive than the old meter I used for 5 years. It had a “bar” indicator that did not have very good sensitivity.
Over all I like this one because of those. I hope it continues to give me the same performance for 5 years, but it is an excellent value if it lasts only 1 year.

Unit appears to be very well made; display is very sharp and clear – easy to read.
I can’t speak to its accuracy, aside from comparing results with my Apple Watch 7. The 500E-B reads either the same or slightly lower than the watch. I get my “specs” checked often at doctors offices (lots of health issues) and from this my feeling is the 500E-B provides a good way of self monitoring in between visits if someone feels the need.

This pulse ox is amazing! I checked it at home it’s working great. I brought it to work and started using it in my practice. Within that first week something utterly amazing, and yet predictable, happened. The pulse ox grew legs and walked away. Okay I left it somewhere and someone picked it up and now it belongs to that someone. I hope they enjoy it it was a good pulse ox for a good price.

I was very pleased with the overall quality of the meter. It is well made, comes with a rubber cover for protection fro the elements and a very sturdy velcro closing nylon carry case. Also supplied is an easily fitted, strong lanyard. The instructions are easy to follow and simple, yet go further to in depth explanation of how the device functions and operates. The cradle for the finger is comfortable and I had no trouble getting a reading. It is accurate alongside other meters and very easy to read. It requires 2 AAA batteries, which were supplied in a sealed package. There are multiple read formats to suit most. The price is very reasonable and delivery was sooner than stated. It was packaged well and arrived in excellent condition. I would recommend this little unit to anyone who might have need for one. I am now more confident that I can assess my heart rate and blood oxygen saturation on a very regular basis.

Little unhappy on callous or with some nail polish. Overall works well. Not as good as McKesson. Most reads are 97-98%. Fine for our practice. Have a better one if monitoring levels with exertion.

Works amazingly well. Just wish they would make an XL size for people like me with big fingers. Better yet if they could make a unit with a nice comfortable external finger cuff in 2 sizes that would plug in externally that would totally rock. Then allow data logging on an external MicroSD which no one does reliably at an affordable price point for the masses. I looked at all the ones that cost $100. There fingers cuffs are too small, have no external memory which means only 24 hours of data logging. What about some Bluetooth and an Android app? Get in touch with me Zacurate.

I have severe iron deficiency anemia and my oxygen level can get very low. I have been taught what to do when that happens, so I just need this device to tell me how low I am. It is very easy to operate and convertible for my fingers.

Arrived on time in perfect condition. Had excellent feedback comments. I was a little wary as it was under $12. bucks to my door. I recently took this to my pulmonary walking test and compared numbers to the hospital’s state of the art device. The pulse was the same throughout the walking test. The saturation number was low, BUT consistently by 3 points…so now I know accurately what my oxygen saturation is simply by adding 3 points. If you need such a “tool”, get this one. Come with a protective woven nylon case so it’s safe to throw in my backpack. buy without hesitation.

Pulse readings seem to be accurate when checked against oximeters at the doctors office and at rehab center, oxygen readings read 4-5 points below. This is the second unit I have bought that read the same way from 2 different brands. I also purchase an inexpensive unit from another company that is accurate.
