Hi I was very pleased with this!!
I was expecting a smaller piece and was pleasantly surprised at the size!
I bought it for a small Tillandsia Bromeliad I had and have decided to add a couple more because of its size!

Don’t let the “small” fool you- pay attention to the dimensions! This is larger than I expected, but it works perfectly for my enclosure. My tarantula seems to like it, and has webbed up the substrate inside and even decorated its new home with some sphagnum moss.

I bought the creatures small bark for them previously and they are about 1/4 or 1/5 the size, this was only a buck more and it’s a much better deal unless you have a really tiny enclosure. The one I got is a couple Inches thick as well. It’s dirty on the underside so I will bake it to make sure there are no hitchhikers.

I bought this for making dioramas, and it achieves what I want, for making small painted rocks, or fallen trees, or whatever. It splinters a bit which is good for the art I do, it may not be great if you’re putting it with a lizard or something. Great for me.

I’ve bought these numerous times. The only problem is you never know what it’ll look like or how big it will be but I have enough different animals that it will always work one way or another. Some pieces have been sturdy, others not. The weak pieces I break up into smaller chunks for my tarantulas. The full size pieces work well for small/young snakes. I’ve used this for my sand boas, baby rainbow boa and baby ball python.

Bought this to mount some orchids that were not doing well in the pots with orchid media. They were transferred to cork bark mount with nothing else and the orchids are doing well – no more die offs of the plants are being seen

We have a Christmas stocking for our pets, including my daughter’s Ball Python, and my son thought it was dumb to have a stocking for a snake because “what is Santa going to fit in there for a snake?” So, Santa needed to prove to him the stocking had a purpose and this small piece of cork was perfect. It fit easily into the stocking so “everyone” had a gift on Christmas morning. Now onto the actual product – we’re using it propped up against the back of the tank and wedged in place by one of the hideaway caves. It makes the tank look very nice and has stayed put so far. The snake checked it out immediately and I guess approves because she has been seen rubbing against it a few times. Overall I think it will help her during shedding in addition to making the tank look nicer.
