It’s perfect for even small reptiles like a leopard geckos. Mine loves his, I have it above his heat spot so he can still be slightly warm but not directly on the stone heater if he doesn’t want to. It also gives him a step to climb onto his plants

Good quality and good suction, it is yet to come off of the glass and I’ve been using it for a couple months. Great for reptiles or axolotls, my axie absolutely loves chilling on this hammock.

The suctions don’t last long unfortunately. It was great to have and my gecko loved it but after 2 months the suctions didn’t stay and it was impossible to keep it on. Oh well, may by in the future again

Our iguana is about 4-5 inches from nose to the beginning of his tail. We bought this hammock for him and he *loves* it. He’s currently in a Zilla vertical enclosure that’s 12×18 and the hammock is a good fit. It covers about half of the cage and I wouldn’t recommend the medium or large sizes for an enclosure of this size.
The suction cups have to be pressed very firmly against the glass in order to adhere. At first you think they’re not going to work, but when you put enough pressure they adhere and stay there. The suction cups and the glass have to be clean to adhere well. We’ve not had any trouble with the holes in the net pulling off of the suction cups’ bases, but our iguana is still very small. Too much weight might cause the holes to slip off the suction cups and result in a fall, so he’ll definitely be getting a larger hammock when we increase the size of his cage.
And this is very easy to clean! We simply take it out to the laundry tub, rinse off any wastes and scrub it (along with all the other cage fittings) with dish soap and a scrub brush. Then we give it a quick spray with disinfectant and it’s good to go. The hammock material is rubbery and flexible, with very little odor. It’s ventilated, but the holes aren’t large enough to catch his little toes.
The best part is that he loves this thing and is almost never out of it.

Good product but the suckers will not stick to a wooden vivarium so I used screw in hooks instead

I know these are meant for “reptile” enclosures but I had to try these in my axolotl tank after doing distinctive research. (those are my babies) Turns out the materials are completely safe as long as they don’t start to un-thread.
They are a great way to give your axolotl another place to rest and explore. My Ozzy & Sharron, love theirs. The best part about it is sometimes getting a hide for a chucky axolotl can be tricky without them ripping up their gills or sides. I was able to lower Sharrons to create and cave like home for her and now without any problems she can rest, hide and move around under her hammock. Ozzy well he likes to balance on the edge on one foot.
Very happy with my purchase

I purchased this small reptile hammock for a 20G Long tank. My leopard gecko uses the branches and rocks in her habitat to get up to the hammock in the corner top of her cage. She loves it. I have put it on the cool side of her tank, but I am actually tempted to get the reptile ladder and put another hammock on the hot side as well. I like this because it adds height to her climbing options and a safe place to rest. The suction cups have stuck very sturdily with no problem. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to add a climbing spot to their reptile habitats.

I was worried this would be too big for my tank as I was buying it for my White Tree Frog. I couldn’t find a small hammock or decor piece anywhere in store, this was my only hope. It ended up working out great. My frog loves it, therefore I am happy! The suction was difficult at first but if you wet it slightly it seems to cling to the glass better.

Got this for my juvenile bearded dragon as another place for him to bask. And he does! Climbs the log and hops over to get under the heat / usb lamp… Unintended consequence is he also likes to poop on it sometimes. Thankfully the plastic material is easy to wash quickly.

I used the smaller size for my axolotl, ended up redoing the tank and it’s not in there anymore. It did add a nice ledge to the tank though.
Now I use the hammock for my frogs, they have two and love them.

I saw some people use this with their turtles, so I wanted to give it a go. I purchased the small size.
It arrived packaged just like the listing photo depicts, and after rinsing it in some warm water, I put it in my tank. Before applying, I made sure that my aquarium’s glass was clean and free of any debris. Then I wet my suction cups in the aquarium water and it’s been stuck for the last month or so since.
It measures: Shortest lengths: approximately 10.5 inches. Longest length: approximately 14.5 inches.
Size is just fine for my 4 inch red eared slider to lay out on. It likes to grab onto the edge and chill like that (even found him sleeping this way), and he gets on it to lay out when he thinks he’s alone.
Overall, I’m glad I decided to give it a go. It’s a cheap piece that provides a little enrichment to my turtle’s tank. I was a little apprehensive after reading so many reviews on bad suction cups, etc. But every time I’ve had a product with suction cups there are reviews like that. I’ve personally never had an issue. Just made sure my glass and the cups were clean and wet before sticking them on.

Ultimately great product just the sticking things to stick to the glass wouldn’t stick at first but ultimately a good product.
