ANANJY Waterproof Reusable Silicone Swim Earplugs

The box says ‘3 pair purple’ so I’m a bit confused why there are blue, pink and orange pairs inside, but judging by the description this appears to be just how they are. The ear plugs are soft and bendy and do fit nicely in the ear, although it took me a lot of looking at the photos on the listing to work out which went in which ear. If there is a R and L on there somewhere my old eyes cannot see it! It’s probably more intuitive to people who use music ear buds but took me some brain power! Anyway, once I worked it out I decided to use two different colours, and then I only have to remember which ear has which colour, which I find easier than working out the shape. I got these not for swimming but to protect my ears in the shower. I’m having long-standing ear problems and want an alternative to the little ear shower caps I have been getting through for months. These went into my ears comfortably despite the soreness of my outer ear canals, which are small, and smaller still now inflamed. The pointy bit didn’t seem to go quite in the right place up into my ear like it does in the pictures, but close enough and at no point did I think they would fall out. I feel like the inner ear is getting decently protected as these certainly muffle noise quite a lot. However, when I took them out (after drying the outer part of my ear and the plug) there was definite wetness in my ear and on the ridges on the plug. So they did not do as good a job as keeping my ears dry as the ear cap things do, apart from on the days where they decide to fall off mid shower. Rather a shame, and not really suitable for my needs currently as my ear problem is more of the outer ear than an otitis media type infection. For the latter I reckon these may well help protect the relevant area, and certainly worth a go for swimming where plugs of some sort are needed, where these will be better than nothing, although I feel there may be more effective types around.

These are decent earplugs which can be used for swimming or for sound-deadening in noisy environments. They are easy to fit into my ears, but my younger children find it more difficult to get a comfortable and secure fit. Each earplug has three silicone cones, designed to create a robust seal from the external environment, and it achieves this quite well.
I don’t find them as comfortable as other swimming earplugs I have. After 30 minutes or so I need to take them out and re-seat them back in my ear.
Three packs are provided which is handy. I leave a pair in the case for my swimming goggles, another in my gym bag, and a pair in my travel bag. Each has a little plastic box to keep them together and protected. Very good value for money.

These are a great aid for swimmers, as they stop your ears from getting blocked up while swimming.

While this doesn’t afect everyone, for those of us that do constantly get our ears blocked after being in water, these prove to be a life saver.

Come in a set of 3-pairs, in three colours, so you’ll have spares in case you lose a set.

If you want to keep water out of your ears while you’re swimming laps, then yes to these earplugs. I wish I would have bought them years ago. My ears are small, and the blue size fits perfectly. Very comfortable and I didn’t have to adjust them while I swam. They stayed in place. You have options with this product, which is convenient.
