Having decided to build my next pc in an matx form factor my first decision was choosing a case. After reading positive reviews on youtube and various forums the AP201 stood out as a great choice. I’m glad I bought it, it looks fabulous, the build quality is very good and I found it very easy to work with. What’s not to like here, the case has a premium feel and I love the all mesh panels that keep my gpu sub 70 degrees. Highly recommended.

Das Gehäuse ist gut verarbeitet, gut lackiert und nicht scharfkantig. Letzteres merkt man, denn es geht enger zu, aber dafür ist das Gehäuse kleiner. Kritisch könnten die Schnittstellen auf der anderen Seite des I/O-Panels vom Motherboard (mATX) sein, da hier eine Stufe im Chassis ist. Das sollte man sich vorab in den Videos und Bildern im Internet vom Gehäuse und gewählten Motherboard ansehen. Ein CPU-Lüfter mit einer Bauhöhe von 168mm machte keine Probleme (was passt, kann man mit den Werten aus dem Internet auch nachrechnen). Etwas ungewöhnlich ist die Anordnung des Netzteils: Es sitzt unmittelbar hinter der Front, also nicht am Boden des Gehäuses, wie bei anderen Gehäusen. So lässt sich aber die Baugröße erklären (es ist vergleichsweise tief). Konsequenz aus dieser Bauweise ist, dass quasi ein Verlängerungskabel für das Netzteil im Gehäuse verbaut ist, welches auf den üblichen Kaltgerätestecker auf der Rückseite führt. Auch dazu findet man Videos und Bilder im Internet. Dort ist aber kein weiterer Schalter, d.h. völlig vom Strom lässt sich das Netzteil nicht trennen, da der Schalter des Netzteils im Gehäuse verschwindet.

Ich hatte die Gelegenheit im Rahmen meines PC-Baus dieses Micro-ATX-Gehäuse zu testen und bin begeistert! Wieso es dann doch ein anderes wurde, erfahrt ihr hier.
Das Wichtigste in Kürze
– Vollständige Mesh-Verarbeitung, mehr airflow geht nicht.
– Solides und kompaktes Design.
– Durchdachte Innenausstattung und moderne Anschlüsse (USB-C).

Zum Gehäuse
Der Aufbau des Gehäuses ist selbsterklärend, Anleitung und Verstellmöglichkeiten des Innenlebens sind vorhanden. Die Installation der Hardware verlief ohne Probleme und dank dem platzsparenden Kabelmanagement mittels Klett ließen sich alle Kabel ordentlich versorgen. Kurz, es ist bei diesem besonders angenehm schlanken Design ausreichend Platz für alles vorhanden, lediglich für die High-End-Fraktion der GPUs ist Vorsichtig geboten, denn für Flagschiffe wie eine 4090 könnte es eng werden. Für alle Minimalisten da draußen, die ein kompaktes PC-Gehäuse suchen und sich beispielsweise mit einer 7800XT zufrieden geben, gibt es ausreichend Platz.
Der Grund, wieso es dann doch ein ATX-Gehäuse wurde
Als ich dieses schicke und unaufgeregte Gehäuse in sattem Schwarz zum ersten Mal sah, war ich überzeugt: Es und mein ASRock B650M Pro werden Freunde. Es begann eine kurze aber innige Beziehung.
Denn leider hatte ich Schwierigkeiten mit dem Mainboard und, da ich kurzfristig keinen Ersatz in diesem Formfaktor bekam, musste auch das Gehäuse zurückgeschickt werden. So musste dann doch der schlanke Micro-ATX-Traum einem ATX-Mainboard und einem klassischen ATX-Gehäuse weichen. Zumindest vorerst.
Denn, auch wenn wir dieses Mal nicht zusammenfanden und uns wenige Kilometer voneinander trennten, wir werden uns wieder finden, eines Tages, wenn…

Le Asus PRIME AP201 est un très bon boîtier Micro ATX, avec assez de place pour la plupart des cartes graphiques modernes, un bon airflow avec son mesh (malgré le manque de fans à l’avant), malgré sa petite taille à pas mal de place pour le cable management ! Mais, je dirais qu’il manque d’espace pour l’alimentation (surtout pour les non-modulaires) avec l’utilisation de watercooling 360mm. De plus, attention c’est un très bon boîtier Micro ATX, il existe de nombreux meilleurs boîtiers pour les configs en Micro ITX !
