My friend has one, and I needed one to tune my 12-String Guitar. It worked perfectly. The best thing about It, Is the price. I told my friends about it, what it does, the cost, and where to get It.

Buen afinador. La únicas pegas que le veo son: un poco grande, las pilas parece que se mueven mucho y el pitido que hace cuando estas afinado o el metrónomo no pueden (o no he sabido) enviarlos hasta el amplificador. Solo suenan por el pequeño altavoz.

I was very disappointed in this tuner. Even alone in a room with no other noise, it is hard to tune my instrument. I have to pluck the string several times before it will even register, whether it is in tune or not.Boss TU-80C Chromatic Tuner & Metronome

This Boss tuner does what it is intended to do, deliver accurate signals to the player with easy to operate controls. Recommend using premium alkaline batteries …..you never can go wrong with these. This tuner will be my “go to”.

First tuner I’ve bought and it works great. My daughter’s violin teacher uses this model so I purchased one too and love it. It’s easy to use and I’ve been able to tune her violin when she practices.

    What I didn’t like:
-No variable output volume for accu-pitch tuning tones or metronome clicks; just one pre-set volume that wasn’t loud enough for me.
-The metronome portion as a whole just seemed limited; no tap-in feature and awkward controls for the metronome settings: you basically have to listen to the beats and guess what the pattern is (triplets, eighths, etc.) but it’s manageable. There is a reference chart on the back of the box.

    What I liked:
-Input and output channels, although I haven’t read into whether or not it’s a straight-through channel for guitar playing. Wasn’t able to try it out either.
-Can switch between guitar, bass, or general tuning settings.
-Metronome goes up to 9-beat measures and rangers from 30-250 BPM

-Reportedly wide-range of tuning capacity. I didn’t actually try to tune anything with this because I wanted a tuner/metronome that’s both a good metronome and a good tuner. This one seemed to be more of a tuner than a metronome (but a good tuner at that). If you don’t care so much about the metronome, but want a good tuner for the price, this is probly your better shot. I personally would go with the Korg TM-40 because it tunes well enough for my needs and is more practical as a metronome. Depends on what you need.

Bought this for use with my bass and it does a good job. Simple to use and reasonably priced. The guitar will pass through the tuner even when it is turned off, which is handy as you can just leave it in your signal chain and not have to keep messing about with cables.

This is my favorite tuner and metronome. I keep one in each guitar case. Simple functions & good for practicing. The built-in microphone does an admirable job and the DSP isolates the fundamental frequency within about a half-second. It is more sensitive/accurate than most tuner pedals. The metronome is loud enough for acoustic guitar and is a pleasant, distinctive cluck/knock sound. The one-beat is easy to distinguish.
