BPS Neoprene 3mm 5mm Five Finger Gloves

Be sure to size up! I generally wear a medium or large in gloves. To be on the safe side i ordered a large. It fit, but felt pretty tight. They were kind enough to send me an xl no charge.

The gloves fo a good job keeping your hats warm and dry. I had to stick my gloved hands in the water to push off for my kayak. My hand was near totally submerged and I didn’t feel the 60 degree water one bit. I also stuck my hand in the water accidentally while paddling and couldn’t even tell.

There are some downsides:

The company, bps, is responsive but not always helpful. I had trouble registering my gloves for the extended warranty. A qr code is provided, you click the link and register. Mine didn’t work. I contacted bps and they kept saying “try it again”. After several attempts it was clear they weren’t willing to help.

The velcro seems very low quality. After my first wear it was coming off the glove. It attaches super strong, to the point where I almost ripped it from the stitching trying to take my glove off. Not the sign of a quality product where things rip After the first use.

Would I buy it again? Maybe if I didn’t need the velcro. If I did, I would try another brand.

I was looking for a pair of gloves for open water swimming in the Puget Sound. I had tried many on at a diving store but most were not flexible enough. I took a chance on these.
They are snug around the fingers which is what you need. They have a grippy plan. Wrist area has a velcro strap which seals out the water. They are 3mm with a 5mm palm. The pink color was very cute and matches my cap.
These performed well. They are reasonably flexible. They did not interfere with my crawl stroke. They kept my hands warm in the cold water. They were easy to tighten around my wrists. I ordered a size Sm. They will work for me.
The only 2 criticisms are: I have small hands and the fingers were about a 1/4″ too long and the wrist straps were too loose for my wrists. I had to pull the velcro tight and stick the bottom edge of the top strap to the bottom edge of the lower strap. That is why I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating.

Just pulled ’em out of the package and they are exactly what I hoped for. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and snug with nice rubberized grip texture on the palms and fingers. They seem like a good, midweight workhorse glove that’ll be thick enough to keep you warm without sacrificing too much by way of dexterity. I plan to use them for cold-water kayaking. NB: They seem to run fairly small in both length and circumference for their size. I’m usually a medium or a large in men’s cycling and ski gloves. For these I got a large and they just barely fit. Could probably run an XL but I’d rather keep them snug for paddle grip.

These gloves worked great with keeping my hands warm while on the jet ski. I was worried they would not be comfortable while riding but was pleased that they truly are. Appreciated the color so I can easily tell which gloves are mine.

the first pair of gloves I ordered did not fit. according to their size chart I needed a large, but my hand was toward the higher end of the size range.

when I requested a return, SURF and SNOW WAREHOUSE responded immediately and it was a no hassle pleasant experience.

I then ordered the extra large and they fit perfectly and are high quality. very comfortable.

super happy with this seller and their gloves.

but if your hand is in the middle or higher of the size range do order the next size larger. I did suggest to them that they revise their chart but I think they are unlikely to do that.

Returned these gloves for refund and ordered SIZE: XXL which fit perfectly
