However it is meant for a woman or a child. One that likes smaller sized watches, for it is very delicate and quite tiny.

I love this watch- my favorite feature is the timer function which you can set for 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes with just clicks of a button. I find it handy to remind myself and it’s always with me (sometimes I forget to bring my phone around the house with me and don’t hear the alarm when it goes off but my watch is always on me). I also find most watches to have features that I don’t use often and I end up navigating to those features accidentally. This watch has very few functions- one alarm, a stopwatch and a button to check the date and day of the week. It’s also a great watch if you have slim wrists (or for kids), as it’s small and light. My chief complaint is that there is no backlight to check the time in the dark. Also, as it’s a small watch (the face of the watch is about the size of a quarter) the numbers aren’t that big. Be aware that the alarm is not extremely loud- if my arm is under the covers and I was deeply asleep, I might not wake up. Otherwise, great watch!

Pro: I gave this 5 stars because it is the best on the market. I have been wearing this style watch for at least 25 years. I use it to exercise. The timer is great. So easy. And it’s attractive and comfortable due to its small size.
( the face has a very small diameter and the band is the thinest out there).
Con: The price has come way down. It used to cost me $45 at a mall kiosk or at a Target like store ( no longer in business). The watch used to last a very long time. Now that the price has come way down and I can get it from Amazon, I feel that they have changed something about the band. The band breaks much sooner than I think it should, right in the middle, so you then have to throw the watch out. This always happened, but I feel that it took years. I think that now it takes less than a year. BUT it does cost so much less now. There is no smaller, or more attractive timer watch on the market, so I buy more than one at once, and replace them as they break.

I have been buying this watch for many many years. It is by far my favorite watch.
The Good:
1: I LOVE the countdown timer. It is the best feature. Just one button to push to get a 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30-minute timer. Comes in handy a lot more than I would have guessed.
2: It is simple and small and elegant (IMO), not big and bulky like some sport watches. I don’t want to see a watch face that has 100 pieces of information on it. I do not need to know the moon cycle or what time it is in Japan when I glance at my watch.
3: Fantastic water resistance: I work with dogs in the water and this watch never has a problem with the water or slobber or trauma it receives.
4: Waterproof band: Since the band is not fabric, it doesn’t stay wet or get gross. Since I am in and out of the water, this is huge for me.
5: Price, The price is hard to beat.
The not-as-good:
(1) the band does not last forever. I have to replace the watch every few years because the band breaks (but as I said I am pretty rough with it and I wear it 24/7). I have never had the battery run out. I have kept ones that had the band break and the watch part on those STILL WORKS.
(2) It does not have any backlight feature. I sometimes want to check the time in the middle of the night and there is no way to do this without finding a light source.
But if you ask me those are TINY TINY downsides. Replacing a 10-15 dollar watch every few years is still better than

I’ve been wearing this watch for 15 years and I change the battery or strap myself. It’s a workhorse and easy to use. I like that it’s small profile and affordable. If they made other colours, I’d buy them all.

I’ve been using this model of watch for over 25 years (more than one copy, but at this price I don’t mind replacing it), and still love it. It’s small, water resistant, and simple, which is exactly what I want.
In particular, it has a feature I’ve never seen anywhere else – I hit a button once, and it’ll beep in one minute. Hit that button twice, 3 minutes. 3 times, 5, then 10, 15, 20, and 30. This function alone has saved me from burning stuff I’m cooking many times. It also helps me not be late to things: I have 30 minutes left? Set the watch for 20 and then I can’t get distracted for too long.
And I’m not the only one who loves this watch. Every so often I run into someone with the same watch, and they say the same thing: that they’ve used it for years and always replace it with the same one. Hi, little-Casio-watch brothers and sisters!
Casio, please don’t stop making this watch!
Anyway, the reason I’m writing this review now is to let you all know that the watch band is slightly under 14mm, so most 14 mm bands need to be forced in or cut down slightly. For the band I put in this morning (the original band tends to break after a year or two of use), I had to use the old pins since the ones that came with the new 14mm band were slightly too big. Similar problem last time with a completely different brand of band, so I think it’s the watch size. That being said, once I figured that out, changing the band took less than 5 minutes.
