It was almost impossible to tune. Strings broke within the first few days. We took it to professional who repairs violins. He replaced 2 strings. He said the pegs were ok, he tuned the violin as best as possible but bow was not good and didn’t use horse hair.
We rented a professionally tuned violin and played it with the rented bow. You can tell the bow that comes with this violin is definitely of low quality. On a 1-5 scale 5 being a high quality, I give the violin a 2.7 and the bow a 0.85

The violin made chip, it doesn’t sound good. It was very hard to tune it.

BE AWARE that its not fully refunded.
Even though it says its free returnable. So I had to pay for the shipping almost $15 and the refund was $ 30 less.
Try to find instrument in local stores, so you can try and see what you are getting.
I would not recommend this violin!

I bought this because every once in a while I like to “fiddle” around with a violin. I took lessons in school many years ago. I am not by any means a professional or even very good at playing but I like to play occasionally. This is why I didn’t want an expensive one. Sometimes won’t pick it up for months or even years. But even as simply as I play, I know this violin isn’t right. Got it tuned perfectly then put the bow to it and it’s out of tune. Spent hours trying to keep it right. Like I said, in this case, you get what you pay for.
