I always have this with me for collecting rocks, it is really a back saver. You can flip over rocks, pick them up, use it as for a walking/hiking stick, and spreading out rocks to look for that pearl. It is also considered by me as a great for safety, especially when looking in tall grass, under logs, under trees and branches; areas which can be home to biting, stinging, and venomous creatures.

We tried to get the rake to extend and no matter what we did we could not get to extend. We took it to a neighbor and neither he nor his son could make it extend! Contractors were remodeling a house next door and the men could not get it to extend. My husband put it in a vice and used a wrench to turn it but still no luck. My husband, unwilling to give up, took a small blow torch to it and lo and behold it popped open.
I should have read the poor reviews before we ordered!!!!!! Not happy!

I got this tool because I have a bad back and bending over weeding wasn’t fun. This sucker is sharp– and heavier than I expected! It works great and is just what I needed!

This (Corona GT 3070 Extendable Handle Cultivator, Red, 18″-32) is
awsome and handy for looking for arrowheads in creeks and streams. You can flip over rocks and lift and sift gravel around easily. It feels light weight but extended it can double as a walking stick. I like it so much I bought a second one.

My backyard has gotten seeded with an invasive blue grass. Tiny little fine rooted plants with even tinier seeds which spread like wildfire. This tool made it easier to just go ahead and pull each by hand–exactly what I was trying to avoid. The prongs clumped with soil with each attempt and I had to clear them each time. I found myself using it as a ‘staff’ to lean on, in frustration, as I pulled the clumps by hand. Going back to using the pair of old scissors as a pry like in the past seems the way to go.
I did find it perfect for pulling out dandelions and other larger sturdier weeds, though. It just wasn’t good for removing the weeds I purchased it expressly for. I still have time to make up my mind about returning it or not.
It is a strong, well built tool and obviously perfect for many uses. I had NO difficulty expanding its length. Doing so is intuitive, actually. Put a second’s thought into it, folks, and you should have no trouble.

This is a great rake for gardens and flower beds. You can work around the plants without damaging them. The tines are nice a strong and wide enough to rake over the top of newly growing plants but not pull them out or damage them. So you can gather the debris but don’t damage your plants. I also use it to scrape out moss in my flower beds, pressing pretty hard and the tines hold up to the pressure. The telescoping handle is nice… I leave it extended, so I don’t mind that it’s a little tough to change the handle length once it’s locked. You need a strong grip to twist it. I liked it so much that after one use, I bought another one for my sister.

I fiiiiinally got around using it after I ordered it a year ago. I had a little project in mind when I ordered it, but I kept postponing it after I got and then winter came. Now I finally got to it and this lil tool helped me finish it pretty fast. It’s sturdy lil thing. I extended it to its max and it worked pretty good. I wish it extended maybe even a foot longer since I’m 6′ and still had to bend quite a bit. Regardless, I finished my project and am very happy. This thing is pretty good quality and I like the fact that it’s retractable if I ever need it in its lowest setting. Oh. It’s a bit pricey at $40 something but you pay for the quality and its versatility I guess.

I thought the product was going to be a little larger but it still worked out ok for my raised bed. This is perfect for smaller jobs. The hoe blade on hoe/rake combo model is 2.5” wide. Good for large condo planters but the handle maybe too long and heavy for small applications that require more manoeuvrability. It’s a niche market tool. It has a strong heavy handle but rather small hoe head. Don’t expect to move mounds of dirt. It’s more for targeted maintenance after everything has grown and where a large hoe will not work.
Not sure why so many people are having difficulty turning and operating the extension. It technically isn’t marked backwards as some have said. The turning arrows are attached to the part that turns. You turn the red handle—not the tapered plastic piece at the front.

The concept is good, you don’t have to bend yourself to pull out the weeds, but this tool is not so useful after all, when the ground is a little dry, the extension of the handle would shrink as you push into the soil to pull the weeds, it is not so tightly locked, you have to constantly twist and turn, it still not lock so well. so I don’t use it very much.

Excellent little tool! I bought it for clamming, finding quahogs specifically. We frequently go clamming at a place close by to us in the summer, it has all types of clams; razors, pacific razors, steamers, all sizes of quahogs, and the stray surf clams here and there. The easiest clam to “dig” is a quahog since they sit only a couple of inches under the sand. I was previously using a small handheld mini three prong garden tool just to drag through the sand if I thought what I saw was the ‘show’, a simple drag of the metal prongs will give a distinct ting when it hits a quahog, then you simply reach in the sand and pull it out. Easy enough, but I’d have to bend down every time just to drag the rake through and then bend/squat again to dig the clam out. After hours of bending and squatting my legs would end up getting really tired, and my knees would be in pain. This amazing little cultivator has changed the clamming game for me, now I only have to squat to dig the clams, not to rake the sand too.

This tool is light, easy to carry, but has a good sturdiness to it also. The extending handle is just the right length for me (I’m 5’7″) to drag through the sand without having to bend my legs or bend over using my back. The handle can be a little tricky to extend, especially if it’s tightened up really good, it takes a strong grip to loosen it. We haven’t had any issues with it not staying extended as other reviewers have stated, but we haven’t had it that long either, so time will tell.

Overall, this is an excellent little tool that can easily be used in soft soil and/or sand to dig without having to bend. However, I don’t think it would be too good for digging through very dense soil as it’s not that heavy and would probably require a lot of arm power. For a basic rake job it’s a fantastic tool!
