Has held up nicely, holds many pairs of shoes. The wire shelf does seem a bit flimsy, but we don’t push on it and it’s strong enough to hold shoes.

Able to put this together myself in a short amount of time. Looks nice and hold my son’s size 15 shoes with no problem. I find it is my attractive looking then our other rack ( taller rack to the right).

Study but light weight and it was quick and easy to put together. Good value for the money and aesthetically pleasing

Like many of you, I read a lot of reviews before selecting this piece. The reviews criticizing the assembly process almost deterred me from buying it. Fortunately, the issues they had with misaligned holes, difficult to understand assembly instructions, etc. were not part of my experience. The instructions were easy to understand, assembly took about 20 minutes (and I am not a handy guy) and I was able to mount the racks at a slant or straight with no issues. I chose slant btw. The Allen wrench and even a few extra screws came with the unit. And my big, size 12 boots fit easily with room to spare. I bought a shoe bench from another home decor place and it took me two nights to put the dang thing together…only to find that the shoes slots couldn’t even fit one of my shoes. And it cost 3x as much. And this unit looks great. It’s sturdy and makes a great holder for my big ole backpack too. If you’re on the fence…buy it!

I found this product when I was looking for an attractive, multipurpose, narrow unit that could serve as both a shoe rack and entry table at a reasonable price point for a small starter city studio – and I’m pleased to say that this product has more than delivered on this front! There are nonetheless a few small caveats, notably with regards to boots and installation, as detailed below.

The good:
– The piece is fairly solid. I have placed it in a relatively low-traffic area of my apartment, and while I am sure that a careening toddler or an enthusiastic large dog could potentially knock this over, it is of absolutely no concern to most day-to-day situations. Similarly, the shelves have shown no signs of stress when fully loaded with shoes.
– While clearly not made of the world’s most high quality materials (and who would expect that, for the price?), it does actually look quite handsome and sleek. Certainly it has received several compliments already and everyone has been surprised to hear that it came from Amazon.
– A large volume of shoes can fit on the rack; I have been able to comfortably fit 5 women’s size 7 shoes abreast on each shelf, making this a good option for those who need to organize a fairly large number of pairs.
– Everything was well protected in the shipping box and it arrived promptly with no apparent damage, and an allen key was provided for assembly – no other tools needed.

The bad:
– The shelves are quite close together, to the point that even an ankle-height boot will not comfortably fit on a shelf. Luckily the bottom row is just high enough off the ground to slide the toes of my boots underneath the unit, maintaining some semblance of cohesion. If you have more than 5 pairs of boots that you are hoping to store here, this may not be the unit for you.
– Also on the subject of shelves, the listing claims that two options are available while putting the unit together: flat or slanted. As it happens, the drill holes intended for slanted shelves aren’t properly lined up and it was utterly impossible to put the piece together in such a way. A pity, as I had hoped to put them together like so. Luckily the flat shelves are functional, so it’s no huge loss, but a frustration nonetheless when advertised otherwise.
– Generally, installation is possible but rather difficult to do solo. For those with dexterity or mobility issues, it is likely that they will need some helping hands.
– Upon opening the box, the “wood” flat-top was absolutely covered in fine, almost invisible, spiky hairs. I assume this is a byproduct of the production line, and was able to wipe down/vacuum up all the detritus, but had I had small children or pets nearby I would have been significantly more concerned. Besides, I don’t think that I should need to have cleaning products on hand because the company couldn’t be bothered to send out clean parts.

Product was super easy to assemble. Took me 15 minutes from start to finish. Cleans up my little corner and I aesthetically pleasing. Much nicer than what I had previously. Sturdy and will last a long time. I do recommend this product. All hardware was there and no extra tools required. They even supplied 4 extra screws. Fits 12 pairs comfortably, you could stuff more in there, if you don’t mind clutter.
