This air conditioner is well worth the money paid for. It was easy to install, get set into place and running. It is well built with nice features including the magnetic remote control holder. The remote has all the features and controls that the Dreo app has and the air conditioner itself. It cools down the temperature of the room very quickly and efficiently. The temperature range is 65 to 86 degrees. This is by far the quietest air conditioner I have ever came across. It makes hardly any noise and you don’t have to turn up your tv or make someone speak up. I’m glad I purchased this and wish I had done so sooner.

I’ve been using this unit every day for 2 weeks. It works well, however, It is not quiet enough in cooling mode (compressor engaged) to leave it on while sleeping. The humidity has been between 50% – 60%, the unit has not needed to be drained, all excess water is processed internally. I like the display and the constantly active louvers to direct air.
The only con I can list is minor. The unit I received had a non-functioning remote control. The remote worked, it just didn’t control the unit. I contacted tech support at Dreo on 7/20/2024. They replied that they would send a new remote unit on 7/23/2024. I received the new remote on 8/1/2024. The new remote works fine.

I did a lot of research online and filtered through the many options for portable ACs here on Amazon. Dismissed many for their poor quality, rushed translations, and general quirks until I came across this one. Reviews were very positive and the concerns I had with other units were alleviated with the information provided here. I decided to purchase this unit and received it a week later.
Installation was very easy. The instructions were clear; everything I needed was provided, including the window kit and plenty of insulation material, and the app was really well made and easy to use. The unit cooled a single room very quickly which is in alignment with the description. I was very pleased with my purchase, except there was one issue: Any time the unit was powered on, it produced a loud rattling noise that originated from somewhere internally. I tried to see if there was something I could do to mitigate this issue externally but had no luck. I continued to use it for the next week or so, hoping that it would fix itself over time but the rattling just got worse and was starting to affect my sleep. At this point, I reached out to Dreo customer service.
Within 24 hours I received a response from Tina who had already diagnosed what the issue may be (likely the inside fan being damaged during shipping), immediately offered to send a replacement, and requested a video as well as a few more details so that they can process it. After these details were provided, I communicated that I would be out of town over the next couple of weeks and was asked to reach out when I was ready for the replacement to be shipped. I reached out a week later and that very same day, the label was created and the replacement unit shipped.
Tina provided an exceptional customer support service that is really hard to find nowadays and I feel completely comfortable purchasing from Dreo as I know if any issues arise, they are there to stand by their products and ensure that the customer is happy with their purchase. Thank you so much for such a pleasant experience and quality product!

I bought this air conditioner because I have a humidifier from the same brand and really like it as well. I love the mobile app how convenient it is to configure and set a schedule. It’s very quiet and very powerful and the same time. It keeps the temperature very even without cooling too much. It was more expensive than other models but I feel it was very worth it. High quality unit.

This portable air conditioner is very quiet. While I had a few issues with the unit, I have to say the customer service was outstanding. Tina from Dreo support worked with me for a couple of weeks to resolve the issues. While not all issues were resolved Dreo is offering a refund. I have purchased a couple of the Dreo fans and am impressed with their performance. Top notch company that works with customer to resolve issues.

I’ve gone through several units (currently living in Tucson summers) and this thing has been a dream. Actual functional cooling over a space, compressor works great, comes with a hose for the excess water (the drip pan is very small and not included). Several modes, blows very strong and etc.
The real MVP is the installation kit. The panels are okay overall, plenty of material to help seal off the frame for exhaust. The heat is funneled great through the pipe with little/no excess escape around the port. The adhesive strips that it comes with are godlike. These these are phenomenal but beware, you must be careful. The adhesive will stick to near anything and is a sticks so strongly it will rip itself up trying to detach (such as from your fingers).
Noise is alright, I can put it beside me and noise cancelling on a microphone can block it out easily to not disturb others.
