Micah –
Lovely strings, but inspect them before the Amazon return window closes to confirm they are not kinked or damaged, particularly, if purchased as a ‘Used’ item. To hold proper tune, they cannot be kinked before installation on the instrument. Blessings

New to 5 string bass, but been playing bass for decades. First set on the five were Ernie Bs – I didn’t like them – the intonation on the G string in particular is bad and they have this weird resonate shrillness to them – tried the Fenders and they sound great, very consistent across all five strings – a bit taut to begin with, but break in quickly. It may be too much tension for a bass with a sensitive neck, but fine on my Carvin. Had a chance to record a little with them and liked the tone immediately – the band likes it too. Different strings may work better for different instruments, styles and tastes – I play ambient, metal, rock, blues – I like these strings, I think you will too.

These are the strings that Fender ships new basses with. They are very bright, last for a long time, and sound great on a Precision Bass.
They are on the stiff side, and if you prefer a soft-feeling string, this may not be a good choice. They are also reasonably priced, allowing you to change them more often.
If you have not tried them, you should.

Strings are working for what I need them for.

These strings go on super fast on fender basses and sound decent.

Much better than I was expecting! Wow!
I absolutely love the guages that they use. I usually have to build custom sets. The light set is perfect for some of my stuff. I can’t recommend these enough!
Amazon Customer –
These strings have a great balance with steel and nickel tones, I actually got compliments at one of my gigs for having a great tone.
Amazon Customer –
Coming from a set of light to medium bass strings means, of course, that the sound is a little less light and metallic, but I’m loving the additional warmth of these! The sustain I’ve got over the past couple days is great – hardly losing any volume at all.

D.BARELLI –
O timbre e o sustain me agradaram muito. Voltarei a comprar.
Amazon Customer –
Good strings.

cordas top, timbre ótimo !!
Gil the Thrill –
These strings were just what I needed for my bass guitar. I thought I’d replace the strings, even though the old ones were only 16 years old. (Bassist should change strings every 10 years whether they need changing or not.) These are good quality strings, by Fender. Ive a long scale bass, they were just what i needed. Theyre less expensive than other strings, & work just as well, in my opinion. I used Fender strings on my guitars for decades. The price was great for these bass strings. As i said, i was pleasantly suprised. Thete are other more expensive bass strings, but on my budget i bought these. If money is tight, try them, you may be suprised.
