Prodotto molto valido, stabile, rigido, con varie possibilità di regolazione (altezza, restensione) ed anche esteticamente ben curato. Unico neo da far osservare è la “gomma” della ghiera fissaggio regolazione altezza che risulta un po’ appiccicosa.

I’ll start by saying that I’m not personally using this stand. I picked it up for my son. He’s using it to suspend a Blue Yeti microphone above his monitors. That Blue’s one heavy mic! I thought that the stand, configured as an almost-full-length horizontal boom from the side, would have a hard time locking in place. But no, it’s just fine. I would have given five stars for stability but took one away because, honestly, this combination of a heavy mic hanging so far off-center is an inherently unstable setup. No fault of the stand. Good price for a good product, and it looks as good as a mic stand can. Need it? Go buy it.

La perche (partie micro) est trop courte, et ne soutient pas suffisamment de poids (le micro s’affaisse tout seul même en étant serré au maximum)
Il manque un adaptateur de vis 1/4 également qui pourrait être fourni avec
Je m’attendais à un produit qui respire la qualité, au final j’ai quelque chose d’un peu cheap

The base screw stripped after giging for a year. I tried ordering a replacement from Gator but they don’t sell this screw size on their site or on amazon. I had to order a new mic stand – DR Pro DR210.

This stand is heavy duty and I think I’ll be very happy with it. I purchased the stand to make video’s with a blue yeti microphone.
The stand itself is heavy and dies not appear flimsy at all. I can see how screwing and unscrewing parts may wear the connections overtime. My suggestion – try not to break it down completely on a regular basis and try to leave the components screwed together if you can.
I see no reason why this stand can’t last me years for my personal use and out perform a cheaper, more flimsy microphone stand.

Every performing musician knows the annoyance of old mic stands: stripped threads; wobbly, heavy cast-iron bases; boom connectors that droop mid song. I bought a couple of these Gators and am impressed with the quality. I can’t comment on the quality of the steel, but after a year, they still work as good as new. So it gets a five. If they last five years, I’ll feel I got my money’s worth.

I’ve tried this stand twice, and both times the same thing has happened. After about a year of regular use, which for me means folding up and unfolding the stand about 3 dozen times, the screw that holds the base in place strips out, making the stand useless. They call it “regular wear and tear” so it’s not covered by their warranty. You could buy the replacement part for $10, and hope that fixes it (worked 2 out of 3 times for me)OR you could buy a K&M stand with a better warranty and better quality build, which is what I’ll be doing from now on.
I ditched these stand years ago, and just thought about them because I was throwing one out that’d been sitting in the corner of my music room. Been using K&M stands exclusively for the last 3 years or so and have had zero problems and made zero repairs on them. These stands would be great were it not for the one fatal flaw. I recommend not buying if you plan on putting any regular amount of use on them.
