Update: second repair at 20 months for fridge compressor. This is the most expensive and least reliable appliance ever!
Original: Love the design and organization. BUT first manufacturing defect at 18 months. Appliance repairman showed me cracked plastic part that caused flooding in my condo. Part on back order for months

We purchased the Kenmore 75035 French Door refrigerator in April 2022 to replace a Frigidaire French Door refrigerator. Although it is Kenmore brand, it is made by Daewoo in Korea. We have been pleased with the refrigerator overall, but had an issue within the first year that resulted in a non-working refrigerator for over a week.
In March 2023 (11 months old), the refrigerator compartment was much too warm (60 degrees) while the freezer and icemaker sections were still the proper temperatures. Unlike the Frigidaire that we had previously, this Kenmore only shows the set temperatures on the display and not the actual temperatures, so there was no indication that there was anything wrong until we discovered food that was spoiling inside the refrigerator. After calling Kenmore customer support, they sent a tech out the following day and he diagnosed the problem as a failed evaporator fan and said he had to order the part. A follow up appointment was scheduled for a week and a half later. Six days from the original call, the part was delivered to our house by UPS. After another call to Kenmore customer service, the follow up appointment was moved up by two days. Once the replacement evaporator fan was installed, the refrigerator is now working correctly again.
Things we like: The icemaker makes ice more quickly than our previous Frigidaire model and it also has an ice storage bin in the freezer to keep additional ice. The refrigerator and freezer compartmets are both more than adequate size.
Things we don’t like: There is no way to monitor the actual temperature of the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The deli drawer does not open fully so it’s a little difficult to see what’s in the back of the drawer. The temperature seems a little inconsistent. If set to 35 degrees, items on the top shelf will freeze. The icemaker and some of the fans are noisy at times.

Don’t buy it, I bought this 1 year 2 month ago, now the refrigerator is 52F , I called Amazon, they said they don’t deal in this condition, let me call the dealer, and they said it repairs not covered after 1 year , I have to pay 500-800 $ labor and not included parts . Beware, this is actually a Daewoo brand refrigerator. So disappointed in this expensive refrigerator. The water valve failed at 13 months of ownership and the part is no longer available, so the water and ice dispenser are non-functioning. Now the refrigerator is no longer cooling and it is not even 2 years old. Repair will be almost $1000. Pretty sure this was a huge mistake in buying this refrigerator.

Update: Today is 23 Jan 2024. I bought this P.O.S., 6 Apr 2023, the day they delivered It wasn’t working; I wanted to return it but Amazon assured me they could fix it! Wrong!!! Thought it was repaired, it’s nine months later and doing the same thing again! Repairman came and needed parts; parts came, repaired today and still not repaired. Called Amazon; got the run around with three people; After all that, they still don’t want to take it back and replace with new refrigerator. I paid nearly $2000 for a brand-new refrigerator and Amazon still doesn’t want to honor their deal! If they don’t replace this unit with a new one, I’m cancelling everything Amazon Prime and I’m going on social media to inform the masses of their unsavory business practices. I’m also considering notifying the BBB and the Seattle television watchdog personalities.
UPDATE: Today is 6 March 2024. I’m on the phone with customer service for over an hour to receive my refund. I’m also irate because it looks like the refund will be short $350 because of some restocking bull crap. UPDATE 2: Customer Service argued back and forth for another hour and refused to give me my full refund even though it was amazon’s fault for selling me a piss-poor refrigerator. The only breath of fresh air is the last customer service representative, Tercia. She was understanding and seemed sincere about trying to help me with my concerns.
It’s 25 July 2024 and Amazon still hasn’t refunded my entire refund. I’ve lost faith in their products and services and if I don’t receive my money within the next couple of weeks, I intent to notify all media companies that will listen, utilize every legal means necessary to collect what is owed me, and cancel anything associated with Amazon Prime.

This thing is a piece of junk! We have had it a few years and had issues from day 1! first a part for the ice/water was broken and we could not use that feature for months until we finally got the part. Then, soon after, the freezer stopped keeping food frozen and the refirgerator would go all the way over 50 degrees a few times a day! A tech is blaming it on the fans. But, what is the chance both fans would go out and why do I have to pay $500 more dollars just to keep this thing running! Stay away! If Kenmore or Sears saw you in a dark alley they would surely hit you with a baseball bat and take all your candy and money!
