Darth Helmet anyone? Wow this helmet is massive. In comparison to my Simpson mod Bandit it’s about an inch to an inch and a half wider. I actually measured it and it is only 1/2” wider lol.. it seems really big though. Other than this it’s awesome. I like the chin bar rolling to the back of the helmet, but when you raise the chin bar the face shield automatically raises. And when you close the chin bar the face shield automatically raises again. The padding inside is amazingly soft and the helmet fits well. I like that the padding completely closes off the outside. There are no gaps around my neck for wind to get in. I wear a medium and it fit perfectly. I like the chin strap too. It looks great in picture but man I am not sure I can get over this big bug head look. I selected to return it for this reason but am second guessing that choice. Is it really a deal breaker for me? I like the back pack bag it comes with and that it comes with a dark shield too. Changing the face shield was fairly easily. Just a little push back switch on either side and the old one pops out and the new one pops in. Installing the pin lock shield was also fairly simple. I like the convenience of the chin bar all the way back so it won’t fall down when I’m at highway speed. I like the weight. It’s not a heavy helmet at all. I also like the easy to open vents in the chin bar and the top of the helmet. Positives out weigh the negative.

What I like from the helmet is the lightness, style, material. But it fit a bit tight on the cheek area, make sure to pick a one size higher because it could be too tight on the face. My wife had a small one and I got her a medium to fit her better. Also I purchased a CARDO Communicater and it fit like a glove.

The lines, finish, design and quality of this helmet is amazing!! If you can get one in your size buy it! You will not be disappointed.
Unfortunately the sizing chart runs way smaller in the actual fit. I have a 62.5 to 63 CM head size which is right on the higher end of a 2XL or the lower end of a 3XL. The helmet manufacturer states that the 3XL should fit up to 64-65 CM. I bought the 3XL thinking I would have an extra CM or two and better to a bit larger than too tight. Also, I have 2 other helmets that are 2XL and 3XL…. WRONG!!! The 3XL LS2 Advant X Modular Helmet was way to tight in all the places on the helmet! I would have needed at least a 4XL to wear this brand. (They do not make a 4XL so it is being returned) It’s too bad, it’s a very nice helmet!!!!

No he podido probar el casco así que los tuve que devolver . Hay demasiadas quejas por el tamaño . El Large me ajustaba demasiado y el XL sobraba . El problema es que la Calota o lo que sería el casco su parte externa . Solo vienen con pocas medidas . Dos o tres a los sumo . Y salvo los cascos más caros traen lo que debe ser una Calota para cada Size . Porque después tu vida en el casco depende que no se apelmaza la esponja de dentro. Conviene comprarlo de una talla menos ? Supuestamente SI . Pero en mi caso apretaba demasiado . Igual el Casco es normal en su peso. Es muy lindo y tiene toda la Diversión que te puede dar el único casco con la mentonera rebatible total . De fácil apertura . No se le puede pedir lo mismo que a un casco integral . Tengo un amigo con un Ls2 y un K5 de carbono . El me aconsejó 100% el Ls2 para touring . Hay que sacrificar Sonido. Tamaño. Pero es menos caluroso (yo había elegido el blanco para Florida – recomendado- tengo uno negro y la cabeza hierve – ) es muy práctico y la verdad es muy Divertido y con la calificación ECE 2206 estimo que seguridad no falta en el casco . Por ahora devolví los dos . Pero voy a optar por pedir de nuevo el LARGE aunque quede apretado porque con el tiempo las esponjas ceden y prefiero eso a que se mueva mi cabeza dentro . Espero les haya servido el comentario 👍👍

This is a nice helmet. The padding will hurt your forehead and the six (6) pounds are quite heavy, but overall good helmet.

Best of both worlds. Can ride with it open or closed. Now that is has broken in I can say it is comfortable to me as well. Was a bit snug in the cheeks for me initially when closed … but has loosened up a bit. I would recommend this helmet if you want a single helmet to function as full-face or 3/4.

This is an awesome helmet. if you’re on the fence, just get it. 180 flip is awesome, com system isn’t too bad to install, and feels like very good quality. Not too heavy either, and true to size. i usually wear an xl and the XL fits great. I actually ordered the slim cheek pads, and it fit WAY better. I have a big ol’ noggin though.
Side Note – the seller is one of my favorite sellers on amazon. Black Hills Moto team is AWESOME if you ever have to work with them. you probably won’t, but if you do, it’s not a headache at all!!!!
