Love this Martin Jr Streetmaster. I got it because I have some tears in my right (strumming) shoulder and wanted something more ergonomic to meet my physical needs. It sounds and plays great for a small body guitar. It had decent action right out of the box. The strings that came with it are nice too. This Martin has become my go-to out of the 3 guitars I currently have. I own a fairly nice Yamaha acoustic 25 inch but I rarely pick that one up since I got this Martin. Highly recommend it for its comfort, playability, and sound. I look forward to playing it for many years to come.

I’ve owned this guitar now for a few months Went to a music store to try several of these out and the Martin 000c Jr 10-e was by far in my opinion the best of those I tried (Taylor GS Mini Koa, Guild Jumbo Junior, Alvaraz travel, as well as the other travel guitar I own a Journey Junior 410 all very nice guitars that play well and sound good) but when I played the Martin it played better, felt better in my hands and sounded much better than any of the others including my own Journey which I really like all of those sounds similar with a tone that leaned towards the tenor brighter, sharper end while the Martin was smooth, and very even across the bass, mid and tenor just a rich full sound much closer to a larger guitars sound. The build quality is excellent, the fret edges are just about a perfect as you can get the fret board is smooth and easy to play the the neck at least for me is a perfect fit for my hands. the width of the neck is just right for fingering chords easily For me the guitar is everything I can ask for in a guitar this size It plays awesome, sounds awesome and is just fun to play being just the right size for me as a man nearing 70 I realize all of these things are different for each person but for me I haven’t played a better travel sized guitar than this Martin its just better by a good margin that all the rest and its a joy to won and play. Too all the others I tried were nice guitars but all solid tops with laminate back and side while the Martin is all solid wood and Martin both pleck tests and then professionally set up each guitar before its shipped so to me you are getting a lot of guitar for about the same price as the other better made, professionally set up and pleck tested and it just plays and sounds better than any of the others Hope this is helpful to folks considering purchasing this guitar to me its well worth the purchase But I would suggest trying it out for yourself if you can so you know it right for you Again hope this review is helpful but this is by far my favorite guitar I own just love playing it

Love this thing, I haven’t played in twenty years and it’s just so easy to play. Get it! It’s good. Can’t have mine though.

I wondered if this was going to be somehow lesser, as it is at a lower price point, and doesn’t haver a hard case (nor even a hard case option). But it is a beautiful bit of art and engineering. Solid, yet resonant. The fingerboard feels amazing. And a 24″ scale with 000 body appears to be as small as a guitar can be made without losing the character of a guitar. At least, this is the smallest guitar I have ever felt that plays and sounds like a proper guitar.
And… A cut-away in this size? Yeah. I’m pretty happy. @Martin, please keep making these, as I might need another in a year or so for my daughter. Well done.
