This is an excellent metronome – easy to use with lots of features. This was recommended by our violin instructor and we would buy again.

My son’s piano teacher recommended this metronome. We have only been using it for about a month and so far so good! It is easy to use and a simple design. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is that it is ridiculously loud (it actually hurt my ears when I turned it on to try it) and you can’t adjust the volume with a volume control. I supposed it might be an excellent volume for a brass instrument. Our piano teacher told us that it will not be as loud as the battery gets depleted and she just puts a sticker or piece of tape over the speaker until it calms down. That worked well enough! I will need to update later to comment on longevity of the product.

Piano can be loud, percussive. This is a great metronome. Like the different beats on beat one when needed.

Does what it was designed to do, well. A volume control would have given it 5 stars; I have to place tape on the speaker to reduce the volume.

Nice and loud (adjustable volume would be nice, but it’s great to at least have a lout metronome). Pretty simple interface. The dial lets you access tempos by increments of 4bps, which is okay, but why can’t we set specific numbers? The worst thing about this metronome though is that in the Off position, it drains the 9v battery. The Off switch apparently isn’t totally off. What gives?

Although it’s loud, but my daughter can finally hear the loud clicks and understand how to use metronome while playing.

FINALLY, I found a metronome loud enough to use with my resonator banjo
