They fit my MIM Strat neck perfectly. Actually, bushings were 0.1-0.2mm too small, so I applied a bit of wood glue around them, let it dry for several hours and they fit snug (if you don’t let glue dry then bushings will stuck to the holes). All tuners aligned with existing screw holes perfectly. Screws themselves are a bit on small-ish side, but can’t complain for the price. Worst case you add a bit of wood glue in each hole, let it dry and then the thin screws fit like a glove

I like the vintage split post for tuning and ease of string replacement. They hold tune pretty good.

I’ve used Musiclilly before, especially for pickguards… I really like “vintage style” split shaft tuners, but Musiclilly’s cheaper version didn’t have the best reviews… Then I saw they were releasing these “Pro” split shafts… I took a chance and pre-ordered a set… When they came in, they were packed well, exactly as advertised, and they felt sturdy and substantial… I advise using a ruler or similar straight-edge to get them on straight… I got these for an ’89 Squier II Stratocaster and they ALMOST hang over the headstock, so, they BARELY fit, but they do… After I got them on, they’re smooth, the ratio seems to be on, and they do hold tune quite well… Especially for under $20… I would definitely recommend these if you have a cheaper project that needs some vintage style… Or, if you’re like me and just love the simplicity, and the faster restring time split shafts afford you…

The tuners themselves are fair. It’s the hardware where these fall short. The screws are cheap pot metal, and snap easily (I was able to bend one with my bare hands), so be prepared for these to snap off when you’re screwing them into the headstock. Musiclily knows this, so they include several extras, but extra screws don’t help you when extracting a broken one from your guitar.

Spend a few more bucks and look elsewhere, or at the very least, grab some real screws from your local hardware store.

These tuners fit perfectly on my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster, and so far work well. They look great, too. All in all, it was $20 well spent.

I bought these for an inexpensive partscaster strat I built recently. My objective was to keep the build on the cheap side, so I didn’t want to spend too much on any single part, including the tuners. I took a chance and ordered these from Musiclilly and they met all my expectations – decent quality and finish, and they stay in tune fairly well all at a very good price. I definitely recommend them.

They are good quality tuners. They fit my 1960s Teisco guitar perfectly. I didn’t have to drill any holes for screws. I didn’t use the ferals that were provided. I used brass tubing instead because I didn’t want to expand the holes with the ones in the kit.
