We have been going through a very stress full time since the hurricane hit PEI . We have had Damage lost a roof and then have to move out of the house so repairs can be done. In this mix is a dear little Dog that started having anxiety over every thing was becoming reactive in situations and Seperation Anxiety also. Found these Calmiing treats on Amazon NaturVet calming chews. They are wonderful and my dog is calmer sleeping better and so relaxed .

I’ve purchased these a few times for our dogs. I find they work best for specific times such as a lot of visitors or while we were doing renovations. It helps take the edge off but can also make the dogs a little bit drowsy if you too much. If your dog has behavioural issues, these might not work.

This product is great. My dog calms right down after about 30 minutes and settles for a good night’s sleep. I imagine you could use it for other stressful situations for the dog. I like it better than products containing hemp oil. My dog isn’t crazy about the taste so I put butter on it and he gobbles it up. He wakes up bright and energetic the next morning so there is no residual effect. I highly recommend it.

I have been loyal to one particular brand that is a bit expensive. I have been trying so many different types. I didn’t want to go to CBD Or a tranquilizer. I think I found the perfect thing and they have one for senior dogs which I have. I’m not sure what the differences but my boy is 13 almost I don’t want anything to hurt him. He loves the flavor. They are treats so there’s no forcing anything into him. They work pretty good. I can see a definite difference. He will settle down and sleep through the night. We haven’t had many storms, but we did have a hurricane and he stayed great. Normally, he is all over the place. He has PTSD, anxiety and more and had a hell life until we met two years ago. I am very happy with this.

My 65 lb black mouth cur mix has separation anxiety and has been chewing something up every day I leave her. At a friends suggestion I considered a muzzle but figure shes stressed anyway, it seems like something strapped to her face would only make it worse so thought Id try these. The suggested amount had an effect but not enough to stop the chewing. I have to give her 2x the suggested amt but it calms her enough that she only chews on the frozen stuffed bones I give her. Shes alert and greets me in her usual crazy fashion when I get home and is more than ready for romp time with the neighbors dog. She likes the taste and thinks theyre a great treat! I especially like that they are natural ingredients. Im only gone for 6-8 hrs 2-3 days a week so she doesnt get it every day and the only downside Ive found is that when they wear off shes a little more wired than normal. A side effect Im HAPPY to deal with. Its made life better for all of us!

My 4 year old dog developed anxiety out of the blue! She seems afraid of everything lately. This has been very difficult for us and her. She refused to go out potty, refuses walks sometimes, hides upstairs (when she is normally always with us) We have been to the vet and he recommended this as something to try. So we have tried a lot of things and this seems to be helping. I started by giving her 2 in the morning and 2 the evening. She is not a 100% but I must say this seems to help get her back to somewhat normal. She is still afraid of rain, storms etc, event though she wasn’t in the past and hesitates once in a while, however I think this treats have allowed her to “push” through it. I will be purchasing these again. She doesn’t love the taste, she will eat them but only after I give her a different treat. She does the same with her vitamins and heart pill-she knows!

I have a very active 2 year old staffy cross. She gets lots of exercise everyday, but her intensity at the dog park has been tripping out other dog owners lately. This problem has only started a couple of months ago. We frequent the same dog parks we always have, she gets out 3 times a day and still just wants to play hard when we get to the dog park.
I thought maybe if we biked the 3km to the dog park instead of walking that she wouldn’t be so intense when we get there.. nope, she’s still full speed ahead.
I picked these up hoping it would help chill her out a bit. it hasn’t done anything but give her diarrhea.
First day I gave her the recommended 4 chews (she’s 52lbs). Didn’t do anything. The next day I have her 6 chews – the equivalent to 450mg of chamomile, 300mg of thiamine mononitrate, 90mg of L-tryptophan & 360mcg of melatonin. Again this did nothing. Maybe even a little more energy..
if this label was correct my dog should be asleep.. The fact that my dog is getting diarrhea from it and not other healthy treats tells me it’s indigestible, unhealthy and not something I will continue to give my dog.
I think this product falls under the “pet fooled” products.
