This compact kettle is perfect for travel for prepping a single cup of coffee or tea. It has some advanced functionality allowing choice of temperature rather than just going to boil. Nice to have dual voltage as well – will try on next trip to Europe. Interesting that boiling is recommended without lid – would prefer a vent and closed unit; however, it still boils quickly even with the top heat loss. I have been using another style of individual kettle and this one is definitely a step up. The smaller capacity may be challenging if you want to make two cups simultaneously, but it does brew quickly if you need to boil more. I find this a perfect accompaniment to my Aeropress go for travel coffee better than the ghastly hotel in room coffee or waiting in line at an overpriced coffee chain.

I am seriously loving this tea kettle. Its slender profile is what caught my attention, it resembles a thermos, but with better features. Even though the metal has a slickness, I do love the matte finish & the dark color. It does make a really great travel companion, however, I ordered it for home use. It takes up very little space and tucks away nicely with the coffee mugs. It has a nice lightness almost like an insulated water bottle.
The product description indicates that it holds 370ml which is approx 12.5 oz. However, I was only able to pour 10 oz into the kettle. There is a “max” line that you are not supposed to exceed as room is needed for the water to boil. If you were to add 12 oz the water would go to the top of the rim. It took around 5 mins to boil water to 176 degrees. When finished the tea kettle does beep several times, but not very loud. Also, the tea kettle makes very little noise when the water is boiling, I could hardly hear it. The display is bright and easy to read. The outside of the kettle stays really cool which is a bonus. I am using purified water as I have no desire to descale this kettle. I do want to applaud the packaging as the kettle did arrive in a nice strong & sturdy box with very thick styrofoam, nicely done. This would make a very nice gift and definitely worth the cost. Highly recommended!

I ordered this with the intention of using it for travel. I already have a travel one, but my other one looks more like a commuter cup – including what appears to be a sipping hole. I thought that this one had a sleek design. The main thing that I boil water for when I travel is for nasal flushes (neti pots, Navage, NeilMed, etc.) It isn’t safe to use water that hasn’t previously been boiled, but you want it at body temperature when you use it. So, I always set it up to boil hours ahead of time, then just bring it up to temperature when I’m ready to use it. This one is great for that, because it has 6 temperature settings. The hottest is actual boiling (212 F) and the coolest is listed as being good for baby formula (113 F). From 113 F, it is pretty close and cools down rapidly enough to use. At home, I set one up every day for my adult son who has a developmental disability. I have been using a full-sized, 6 cup electric kettle for the one at home. But that takes a good bit of room on our kitchen counter where space is at a premium. I have decided that this is perfect to replace the one at home. It is a much smaller footprint and takes up less room on my counter. It also has a sleek appearance. It says to leave the lid off if bringing a full 370 ml to a full boil, but it is okay to keep the lid on for 280 ml. That works out perfectly for the one cup of water needed for a nasal flush. There are steam vents on the top of the lid. I was worried that those would leak if I carried water in it, but I turned it fully upside down over the sink – while it was full – and had no leakage. This is definitely a winner, for home and travel both.

I am expecting that I should be able to boil water more than 370ml.
Yes, that is the max water you can put (if the lid is open).
But the more I think about it, it is just enough to make a cup of coffee while travelling and we can always repeat and do more.
Set the desire temperature and hit ‘play’.
It has LCD indicator telling you the ‘progress’ temperatur till it reach the desired temperature and it beeps.
From 70F to 212F takes about 2 minites, which is nice.
Also it has dual Voltage selection at the bottom 110V and 220V
The lid allow the hot water to breathe to release the pressure, but when I turn up side down it does not spill. NICE !!!
I think it is perfect as it is designed for travelling.
I wish I had this kind when our kids were babies. LOL.
I do recommend this if this is something you think you can use.
It is 300W thermos, I can use my 12V converter to power this for camping.

I ordered this kettle to replace a coil heater in my hospital go-bag. Although it takes up more space, the kettle heats the water faster than the coil and is safer to use. However, the listing price of $37.99 seems a bit overpriced for the small size.

You can even use it to make your instant oatmeal on the go! In addition it will keep a drink warm after you unplug it like a normal insulated cup for up to 12 hours. Awesome little kettle!

Honestly thought this product would be super amazing. Was honestly disappointed. Its not a large container, so not a lot of liquid fits in it. It also says not to submerge it in water, so how am I supposed to properly clean it? I’d always be worried it will get wet in parts that aren’t meant to get wet and then gets ruined? Besides that, it does work to heat up.
