I love the design and the built in ant moat. Easy to clean and good for orioles and hummingbirds. A great value for the price.

This feeder does everything it’s supposed to do. It’s super-easy to take apart and clean, so there’s no place for mold and mildew to hide. The vine perches seem nice and sturdy. I’ve seen red-bellied woodpeckers perch on them with no problem. The woodpeckers also peck at the bottle sometimes, but no matter how hard they tap, no marks or damage on the bottle. So it’s nice and sturdy, too. Also, this feeder is very easy to fill, and the ant moat is a great addition. Hummingbirds seem to love this, too. This feeder is good value for less than ten dollars!

Liquid does not fill inside the bottom part of the feeder, birds are not able to drink from it, bad concept !!

The yearly migration from Mexico to the same tree in Orange County Ca [for years and years
the birds come to the porch looking for the bird feeder; had to alter hummer feeder and make
holes bigger and put perch branch to use THIS HAS ALL THE ORIOLES NEED, HAPPY TO FIND IT AND
SO ARE THE ORIOLES] kinda flimsy, but works could be a little more sturdy

Although we bought this for the Orioles our Hummingbirds are big fans as well. We might move it to a different location but as of now looks great and works great. Holds about 20+ ounces. Easy to put together and put up. Note- there is an S shaped hook taped underneath the top cap for hanging. You will need to unscrew the top. Almost missed it. The top part unscrewing is a nice feature for switching out nectar. Very easy once you’ve hung it up.

This Oriole feeder is easy to use and is sturdier than my older one. I put it out as the Orioles are now coming into our area for the spring and summer. Those Orioles seem not to like this feeder. They come and use a hummingbird feeder that has openings that are more oval shaped. I saw one Oriole go to the new feeder then go directly to the hummingbird feeder. I believe that they do not like the flowers on the new Oriole feeder as they have “frilled” plastic around the flower opening. I am going to cut these off and hope that the Orioles will like my modification. The “S” hook is too small so I have used the good old zip tie trick on this feeder as I have on my hummingbird feeder.

I had a feeder like this a few years back and misplaced it in a move. I was very happy to find it at such a reasonable cost. This has a nice large opening for filling and the perches fold down easily. We have Orioles and they are always close by and enjoying it. The hummingbirds also have made it their favorite feeder and actually set on the perches often, I spend many hours enjoying them in the summer and this feeder is one of my favorites. Lightweight plastic and very easy to clean.

Living in Colorado, we have some beautiful orioles that have started feeding at our hummingbird feeders. Thinking to make the nectar more accessible to them I purchased this feeder last summer. Well they wanted nothing to do with it. They like the red H-feeder. So this year I painted the top and feeder cap (removing the yellow flowers first). They came to it, but didn’t stay long, instead going back to the other feeders. Even the hummingbird tried but wouldn’t stay long. BTW I did allow 3 weeks for the paint to cure before trying it out. So, I removed the yellow (flowers) feeding ports, and the birds came and tried to feed but left within moments. So after checking it out again, I realized that the sugar water was not filling the base. It was creating a empty vacuum at the bottom where the ports are, so even though the birds are trying, there is nothing there for them to eat. I am assuming that the smaller filling hole on the bottle is the problem. Normally all my feeders have larger jar type openings and fill appropriately. This one is a little larger than a soda bottle and yes I did try to remove the air pocket by tipping it until nectar ran out, but as soon as the bottom is emptied by some desperate bird, it develops the vacuum effect again. I will now just use my old cheap h-feeders, and drill a couple of larger holes in the plastic feeding cap to prevent those determined orioles from swinging the feeders to access the sugar water.
