These make cleaning up so easy! They’re made of a thick plastic, which can get scratched in places depending on how sharp your cat’s claws are, but it’s still better than scraping litter off the bottom of a pan! Will be buying another pack soon.

Cat’s have very sharp claws. My cat is jumbo. The bag lasts a few weeks. Sometimes I put shipping tape over spots that he has torn. When the bag gets too ratty, I put it up and make sure the litter doesn’t spill out, put down a new bag and dump the good litter back in the box.
I would like the plastic to be tougher but it is the best I can find.

I hate washing litter boxes, with 3 it gets gross and takes a lot of time. These liners have been a life saver. I just rinse them outside bow and they’re pristine. Makes changes so much easier too.

They worked well and were thick plastic, but I have a side scratcher. Never using the liners before this, it never dawned on me. When I went to lift it out , wherever he scratched through, litter came spilling out of the holes. Even though the liner had dozens of holes and litter was spilling out it did not rip or stretch. The liner stayed intact. Although they weren’t for us…anyone who uses liners would like these, I think. They were of a durable plastic, but anyone that has a cat knows claws are sharp, lots of things get damaged by them…furniture, woodwork, SKIN! All a lot thicker than plastic bags. As I said, If he weren’t such an aggressive side scratcher I would have loved using these. I have 2 other girls w/boxes of their own and will try to use them there as they are not such crazed side scratchers.

These are not made to perfectly line the box they are designed for. It’s simply a very short rectangular garbage bag. The plastic is thin. No drawstring to tie it around the box. Once you remove it, if the bag is still intact (no holes) you can’t tie it close, because it’s not tall enough, no material height wise to tie a knot. You can tie four corners together, but that’s not hermetic, you will need to place this into a larger bag to contain the smell.
I’ll try to use a heavy duty construction garbage bag instead. They are also much cheaper.
