Amazon Customer –
These pants are comfortable and well made. I like the deep pockets, so my phone doesn’t fall out.

Purchased these joggers in XL and XXL. The XL was too tight on my calves to be comfortable, and the waistband on the XXL is far too large but I just attached some spring beads (ordered separately) to the drawstring and we’re good to go, and the calves are significantly less tight in XXL.
The fabric is nice, comparable to the GapFit Knit Polyester Training Joggers. Love those joggers, for their thicker material and warmth for northeast winters. Nice that they have front zipper pockets too. But they have poor waistband design: two poorly sewn in drawstrings, the far end detaches at the drop of a hat.
Luckily, the Rhone Spar joggers have an all-around waistband and I can tighten the oversized (on me) XXL waistband w those spring beads. The joggers have a good stretch for exercising. I do “hip cars” exercises in them, so there’s good freedom of movement.
The look is ok, would have preferred navy to black but the navy price was double for some reason in the size I wanted. But for the price I got the black versions, the Rhone Spar joggers are absolutely worth it so far.
Also, the label says don’t tumble dry, I’ve tumble dried mine 3x so far and they’re holding up good, jus use a shorter dry time and lowest heat.
Def would’ve been a dealbreaker if I had to air dry them, who has time for that? They’ve held up so far.
Fabric feels good on the skin, keeps u warm, the right amount of stretch, clean uncluttered look.
The front pockets have a cheap swimsuit fishnet across half of them on the inside. Strongly dislike that design choice, as when I drive to the gym, it feels like my car keys, etc, will rip that mesh over time. But we can’t have it all, can we?
Other than the calf tightness on the smaller size, (probably good for runners or bikers), and the mesh lining on the pockets, and high-ish price, I think the Rhone Spar joggers are worth it overall.
I tried Under Armour but they were paper thin, not good for winter. I tried Calvin Klein, they were legit see-thru, which, idk, I only would look good on film if the lens cap was on, jaja, so that’s a nonstarter.
Tried “Tansozer” cheap brand on amazon, same thing, paper thin. Felt like wearing a dollar store swim suit.
Tried some “PX” brand joggers, dirt cheap, good overall, but the fabric was a little tacky, and the really goofy black camo design made me feel like a teen.
Didn’t like saxx joggers much either.
So yeh, the GapFit Knit Polyester Training Joggers would be perfect if the two drawstrings weren’t so poorly sewn in. Great fabric and fit and look.
But Rhone wins in the end, despite mesh pockets and calf tightness, because of the continuous drawstring design that doesn’t break. Comparable fabric.
There’s a rear pocket on the Rhone that I find unnecessary but it doesn’t poke you or anything annoying, so that’s good.
Fabric-wise, the GapFit Knit Polyester Training Joggers are:
Spandex 24%, Recycled Polyester 76%
These Rhone Spar Joggers are:
88% Polyester, 12% Spandex
So pretty similar composition, which explains the similar, thick, good stretch feel.
Other materials I wasn’t as crazy about, since I wanted something for the gym that I could also lounge around the house in when it’s too cold for cargo pants in the winter.
These pants do that well. Enough room in the pockets to fit a phone, etc.
Overall, worth the money.
