The handle stayed tight on the weedeater shaft for one day. The rubberized plastic gaskets that are designed to be installed around the weedeater shaft compressed when the clamp of the handle being installed is tightened so the clamp closes completely around the shaft until it bottoms out. Now the handle clamp needs to be sanded down so that when the machine screws are tightened there is space between the two halves of the clamp. Now I will say that when the handle clamp is modified so that it will stay tight it does really help with balance and control of weedeater especially when one is handicapped.

Makes it much easier on my back while using the string trimmer. The handgrip slipped constantly until I put 2 strips of duct tape on the handle under the rubber grip. This makes it better without the grip moving around. It looked like there may have been some kind of glue on the handle that failed.

This incorporates a cast aluminum body, so it possibly could be brittle… only time will tell. Initially, it seems sturdy enough, but being cast material, leaves me wondering about 1) strength, and 2), body thread life, especially if constant adjustments are made for whatever reason… comfort, storage, etc. It seems to be the cheapest of all similar, and apparently identical products being offered on Amazon. Appears to be a lot of the same units being sold by multiple vendors with varying prices.
Strap is ok and useful. Tubular arm was not aligned/manufactured square… it was twisted, and leaned to one side, and open.. I had to align it myself by bending it as needed..

I have a variety of attachments for my Cub Cadet SS470 string trimmer, including a Homelite UT15518E edger, a brush cutter and a hedge trimmer. But the edger in particular kills my lower back because I’m forced to hunch over and shuffle along the curb, driveway and sidewalks of my 1+ acre street-corner lot. They seem to design these things for short people (I’m 6′ 1″; not a giant, but not short).
The RUIJIU String Trimmer Handle solves this problem for me. I mounted it a few inches behind the existing Cub Cadet hand grip so I can still use the grip when it’s more comfortable. It just took a few minutes to install using the correctly sized rubber grip tube (2 sizes included) and tighten down the mounting screws with the included Allen wrench. I left the screws slightly loose initially so I could move the handle around to find the best location and angle for me before snugging them down.
Once installed, I found it was wonderful to use my trimmer without bending over.
I highly recommend this inexpensive but ingenious ergonomic string trimmer improvement.

I have bought a total of 4 of these now. They are solid enough and work great on all of the power heads that I have installed them on. They do help with your posture.
