I have ordered 18, yes, that is correct…18 of these through the years for graduation gifts for my own kids, their friends & I have mailed to relatives, & my out of town friends’ kids etc. as well. Where else can you get a graduation gift that will last…possibly a lifetime, for around 30.00? I got a tool kit from my mom when I went off to college and STILL have some of the tools! I was very popular in the dorm because I had all the tools others needed that others didn’t have! If there isn’t enough space in their dorm room, they can throw them in the trunk of their car. I give these to girls as well as boys & believe you are doing girls a disservice by not empowering them with things like this! I have learned through the years, that the bag (included with these tools) is better than the plastic molded tool cases, because it is flexible, & has lots of room to add tools to it, as you buy more through the years! Stanley is known for quality…you seriously can’t go wrong buying this! I have gotten so many compliments & big thank you’s from parents as well as kids, telling me this was their favorite & most useful graduation gift!

This is a wonderful starter set. I recently moved, and used every single item in the set to disassemble and reassemble my furniture. The small trinket/accessory kit that came with it was a wonderful addition! The only thing that’s missing, that would make this kit perfect, is a wrench. But other than that, it’s a handy kit and it comes with a decent tool bag as well. Definitely recommend it to men and women who are just starting out and would like a set at home for occasional handiwork.

I do like this kit. The bag only has pockets on the outside and I don’t find them especially useful. Everything else is rolling around inside the bag because there are no pockets in there. However, that’s just like my “junk drawer” in the kitchen which I have to rummage through anyway to find anything. So at least now I can use the junk drawer for something else… like kitchen utensils, and put the tools where they belong. The things in the box (picture hanging hardware, wall anchors, some nails and screws) are not that useful to me. But for someone who doesn’t have those things, I’m sure they would be. Things I will be adding to the bag: a mini flashlight, a utility knife, an adjustable wrench, and utility scissors. There are other tool bags to look at. I would suggest you look at them and buy the ones with the tools you need. Some are better than others. I should have done my research. Stanley is an excellent product.

This was a Christmas present for my Grandson. He asked his “MA” for tools and tool box. Of course he got it. He took his presents to his bedroom. He came back to the living room to begin to tell us how he had taken the railing off his top bunk bed. He was sent back to his bedroom by his parents to reattach the railing. I was moving into a new apartment and needed basic tools for around the house. I looked at a number of different kits and selected this one and couldn’t be happier! The 10 options for the screwdriver are excellent and well made, they stay in the driver. I knew that I’d need needlenose pliers and measuring tape but the little kit with screws and picture hanging hardware came in handy when I unexpectedly needed it too. I would absolutely purchase again. I actually lent the driver to handyman and he accidentally took it with him. I contacted the company to order a replacement and they got back to me in less than 24 hours and said they’d see me a replacement free of charge. So impressed not just with the value and quality of the product but with Stanley the company too. Plus it comes in a handy bag.

I got this as my mother’s kitchen tool kit; as I have a much larger and comprehensive array of tools. My mother was needing a small set with the basics to hang pictures and do minor things. This was an unbeatrable deal. great quality tools, great bag,m with room for lots extra. the alan wrench set is great, as well as the mini drivers for eye glass repair. the only CON is the hammer, it is a wimpy 7oz. They should just put a regular hammer inside this kit, and add a 6 inch adjustable cresant wrench. I had a spare so i threw it in the bag for my mother.

Would definitely recommend this as a starter set. The quality was good, the selection in the bag was excellent, and the bag of a good, sturdy quality. They are the real thing so unless you are going to “manage and explain” the use of these tools ……. buyer beware of the potential dangers.
