This scanner is the right size and n easy to use. However, the instructions lack a little bit of finesse. If I hadn’t had previous pressure canner experience it may have been difficult for me to follow.

I thought I’d LOVE this after the first few uses. So easy, stainless as not to melt into my glass cooktop…not too heavy. Then the gasket began leaking in several places where lid meets pot no matter how low i set the heat to maintain adequate pressure. SO DISAPPOINTED!

I was excited to receive until I started to clean pot and lid before the first use. Black tarnish came off pot & lid edges and inside. Cleaned 2 times, lightly oiled edges per the horribly written instuctions, and more tarnish came off. Disgusting. Instructions and diagrams were for a completely different pressure pot model! Too late to order another pressure cooker. I tried to cook a 4 lb. corned beef and accompian vegetables. Pressure gauge does not work! Have no idea what the pressure is and if it even high enough to cook. No hiss from pressure valves after 30 minutes or more high heat. Finally, Pressure valves spewed hot water out under pressure cap and made a mess. (Caps were not pushed down properly because there were no directions for installation) I lowered heat, cleaned up & kept on cooking, not having any idea how long the meat has actually been at the proper pressure or for how long!! I had to keep opening pot (losing all the pressure) to check for doneness, completely defeating
the purpose. I also made sure none of the valves were blocked as per the limited instructions. Big disappointment. Even the Amazon website products directions eere for wrong model. Returning asap!

As mentioned above, I appreciate the clear-easy-to-read pressure gauge on the top. I find that by “greasing” the interior rubber rim with a small amount of coconut oil, the top to the canner closes effortlessly. I also appreciate that Wontjoin has an office in Dallas–and when I called with a question I talked to a real person. Canning was a new “adventure” for me and this canner made the process easy.
