This bag went for a swim for the first time today. Top folded over 3x and clipped as is done with all dry bags. The bag was connected to a float. Never submerged, just floated on the surface for about 45 minutes. When we opened it up, it was about a 1/4 full of water.

Quick easy access to medical products if needed. And it keeps them dry.

Upon opening this, I checked through what it came with and it has all the necessities. It comes in the larger red bag, and inside it has two more bags, one that holds all (not sure if that was for delivery only to keep it all together or functional as an added step) and the second as a bag in a bag, separating out the items. The only downside is I did not see any made by date or expiration date to tell how old the products were, so if there was an improvement, I would suggest adding that info. Otherwise, great fit for our PWCs.

Wanted a “boat ready ” kit for a good price and not lacking the frills.

Have one in kitchen and shop. Trust it will do the job if ever needed

The bag and overall kit is a decent starting point for a first aid kit, in a waterproof bag. The bag seems decently made, and should be relatively easy to throw to another boater, if needed.
The kit itself has the basics, but I would add at least a few items:
1. Quick clotting bandages
2. A CAT or other quality tourniquet
3. A good pair of rescue scissors
The bag has room for these items, so it’s easy enough to add them. I will most likely leave this as a dedicated first aid kit in my kayak, so that I always have it on the water. A good throw line would also be helpful, so it could be tied to the kit and easily tossed or retrieved.
