This nice sized heavier weight Zoo Med Reptile Rock Water Dish makes a great addition to any small back yard. The shallow water dish is a great smaller sized watering dish for smaller outside wildlife. The heavier weight and design keeps the water dish stable on a flat ground surface. The textured surface inside and out allows for most wildlife easy entrance and escape from the dish. The natural rocklike design not only blends into the natural landscape it textured design allows most frogs, lizards, birds, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, bugs easy access to water. It is truly amazing the diversity of wildlife that visit this water dish daily. If used outside It is highly recommended to change the water at least twice a day to deter mosquitos hatching and maintain clean drinking water for the wildlife. To keep the water dish clean and deter slim and algae buildup it is recommended to do a scrub with a toothbrush and to rinse out with water. Usage with a temperate mild climate the dish placed in a shady area has resulted in several years of reliable use of the product. Climates with extreme temperature changes please check with manufacturer for product long term outdoor viability before purchase.

This product is definitely sturdy and easy to clean. I was a little disappointed at the size though. The description said it was an extra large dish. It was much smaller than I expected. We are still using it but I had to put an additional water dish big enough for my snake to get in if he chose to do so. I just went ahead and used the smaller dish to help add humidity in the tank.

Another fine product made here in the USA. Great size for my BPs. I bought one originally and after comparing it with my others, decided to buy another one.
Compared to my other water dishes, you could tell this one can take a fall. What I like the most, is it doesn’t get a slimy residue buildup and cleans up squeaky clean with minimal scrubbing. The inside is nice and round so there’s not any crevices that are hard to get into.
The first one I ordered was brown which I really liked. The second one I received was green. It’s not super ugly or anything. I could just see it matching better in a rainforest setting rather than a wooded one like mine. They really should allow you to choose the color but then again, Life is like a box of chocolates haha.
As far as the sticker, mine peeled right off but did leave a transparent thin sticky residue. It came off after a couple washings so no big deal. It’s not gonna kill your animal, I promise.

I have a juvenile Royal Python. I’m trying to mimic more of a tropical environment rather than desert. This is pretty much the only larger bowl that isn’t brown or desert themed. This is obviously a molded item so be careful of any jagged edges from where it was pulled. It’s easy to clean, looks great, and is large enough to fit my snake should he ever want to soak. When I move up from 20 gallon, I’ll probably be getting another.

I actually bought this for my parrot… I haven’t had any luck finding baths for African grey sized birds. I happened to see this in PetSmart (for 3x the price, ugh, that’s why I ordered here) and knew that this was perfect
It’s heavy, he can’t pick it up and going it. It’s deep but not too deep, enough for him to step in and get water on him. The rims are thick so he can perch on the edge comfortably.
I’m in love. I’m going to check out other zoo med products for his play stand, because I think they’ll provide the kind of stimulation he needs.
