Je m’en sers pour maintenir l’humidité pour mes mygales et c’est top. Je crois qu’elles aiment aussi, ma C. Bertae s’en sers dans sa cache comme matelas de mue. Stérile et pas de pb de moisissures.

It’s not too bad. But does have a fair amount of brown twigs in it. And is very dry. I think it’s supposed to be that way. I would be happier with it if it was all green, not part brown. Doesn’t seem to hold the moisture as I had thought it was supposed to, and had hoped it would. Have to spray it with water every day. And my tank still stays too low on the humidity. So I sometimes spray the tank twice, when I notice the gauge too low. I probably need to put more in the tank, might help. It’s ok stuff, and my guys love to hide under it. Looks nice in the tank. So I like it, but would love it better if it was greener and not so dry.

I previously used real moss in my tank by that eventually became a hassle with rotting and insects. This stuff is perfect – I ordered the small size and it’s way too much to use all at once, but it rehydrates in large pieces and becomes quite green and lush. I am using this for my vivarium to keep moisture up to look great.

this is a ripoff you get only 1.64 liters which is not 5 gallons would be reason to sue

It’s mostly green, some parts are brown. I used it in a moss pit for my Hermit Crabs. They love it so much, I barely see them. Everytime I try to get them to come out, they run and hide in it. Holds moisture very well.

My fault for not knowing what was buying and marking “just okay” because it is very messy and stinky. I ended up throwing away, but again…my fault. If you know how to use this stuff, you get quite a lot and I thought price reasonable.

This moss is designed to be used by reptiles. However my snail seems to be enjoying it. I’ve even caught him eating it a few times.
You do receive plenty in the box. When you first open the box the moss is in one piece, you just need to break off how much you need and save the rest. You need to give it a good soak in water before placement in your vivarium. I soaked mine for around twenty minutes. I then squeezed the excess water out (as if squeezing a sponge)
Mine hasn’t gone green and lush like some people have said it does, however it is still doing the job. Adding a nice soft base and keeping the moisture in. Once a day I give the tank a spritz with water to keep it moist and humid. I’m really pleased with it and I know once box is going to last a good while.

I get that the moss is supposed to be “all natural”, but that doesn’t mean it should include half the forest. This moss was full of sticks of varying sizes, leaves, flower buds, and dirt. I tried to rinse some of the debris out and it smelled FOUL when it got wet. This is going in the trash, not in any of my animals’ enclosures.

Also dieses sogenannte Moos, ist durch und durch vertrocknet, hart und Holzstückchen liegen dazwischen (s. Bild) zudem ist es stellenweise total verfangen, dass man kräftig dran reißen muss und hat am Ende nur verdorbenes, braunes Irgendwas in den Fingern. Moos ist grün und weich. Eigentlich hätte ich es zurückschicken müssen. Leider muss man ja einen Stern geben. Hier ganz klar Null Komma Null Sterne. Absoluter Mist. Nie wieder!!
