Love these light sets. They do have plastic bulbs but all the functions are great. The remote has switches on it for different modes that you can speed up or slow down there’s a dimmer so you can make them lighter or darker just all the things you want! Someone said on their review, the lights didn’t come in multiple colors, but they do. You just cannot program them, but there are so many modes to choose from. You would find any option that you’re happy with it. Also says it has an app for your phone that I have not downloaded yet, but I have been happy with the remote.

These lights are fun to use. Part of my problem was that they’re not the same spacing as a standard porch light string, so I couldn’t wind them together the way I originally wanted to do. So I had to string them on a lower part of my deck. And I discovered that the app, if you download it, is fun because you can make the lights any color you want. But the app is wrong. And if you go to the. Magic Lantern adjust tab and try to adjust the light, you’ll wonder why they don’t respond the way you think they should, given that they’re not the standard RGB used in paints but in light. And what I’ve discovered is that the blue line and the green line are actually reversed and mislabeled, so that if you’re trying to adjust them where it says blue, use that as the green and where it says green use that is the blue and then they’ll work the way you expect them to when adjusting “light”. For instance, the second picture has the blue all the way up and what’s called the Green at zero. And the third picture has the green all the way up and the blue at zero

I run a small outdoor backyard cinema business and these light were perfect to add the right atmosphere around our 24 foot inflatable screen. Everyone loved them, and they were so easy to control when it was time to start the movie.

Total junk – First of all, let me tell you the picture depicts multi-colored bulbs. They do not come on in different colors like the picture shows. We spent a total of 4 hours hanging the lights at our house to be so disappointed with the color situation as we wanted multi-color. It took me another week to get the app and the remote to properly. You can choose one color at a time and that is the one color for ALL the bulbs. There are thousands of options for how they flash, roll and blink and that kind of stuff, it’s overwhelming after 10 minutes of trying to figure out what you like all the light flashing seems the same LOL. They are not bright. They are dim and only provide ambiance, more like just a glow. Not any actual light to speak of. If you are outside you will have to turn on an alternate light source to see. We had them up for a total of 40 days and then they just went dark on us. Nothing. No worky from remote, no worky from app. No worky at all. Un plugged, re-plugged. Unplugged and let sit a day… Seller sent new set and before hanging them up plugged them in and only 11 out of the 23 bulbs worked and they wouldn’t change color at all. The timer and app wouldn’t work at all. Please save your money and energy and purchase something reliable. I thought with all of the great reviews, these were going to be a hit in my back yard. But, turned out to be a TOTAL disappointment. Look at the people’s comments that actually PAID for these none of them are good.
