Overall, this is nice for the money. I was replacing a Furhaven 3 story condo that had finally started to deteriorate, but it had gone up to $70 and didn’t want to spend that much. Pros and Cons:
Pros: it is large. We have 4 cats between 13-16 lbs. They all fit without issue. Two can fit at the same time in the bottom. In the top of our old one they could only fit curled up, they can stretch out in the top of this one. It is sturdy, as much or more than the $70 furhaven one.
Cons: I took off one star because of the scratching boards that come with it. Other than the one that fits in the ramp, it came with 3 long rectangle boards. If you put all 3 in the bottom, there is still a space, so it doesn’t cover the bottom completely. On the top, one doesn’t cover the bottom, but 2 won’t fit. In all the other scratching houses I have purchased, all the floors were completely covered with scratching boards. So now I’m going buy extra and cut them to fit so both floors are completely covered.

I bought this townhouse playground for my two rabbits and they absolutely loved it! Instructions were easy to follow and it only took about 10 – 15 minutes to assemble. For a cardboard house, this lasted surprisingly well – about 1 1/2 months before it started to fall apart. It’s been 2 months and it’s still standing, just not as sturdy as when it was I initially built (however, that’s understandable since rabbits chew a lot). Even though this is sold as a scratcher house for cats, I felt good knowing that I wouldn’t have to worry about the materials being toxic to my rabbits since it’s mostly cardboard. Even though the townhouse was temporary, it was worth the buy. I’ll probably purchase another one in the future for my rabbits.

We got the townhouse as a first condo/tree for our five kittens when they were about a month old. They took to it immediately and adored playing in and on it. It held up GREAT, so for their first birthday, we got them the castle! They’re a couple months from turning 2 and the townhouse finally bit the dust when our wildest 13 pound orange kitty chased a laser pointer into it at full speed, haha. It probably would go back together, and with a little more tape we might could make it work a little longer, but I think instead, we’ll get them a new one to enjoy! To be honest, these cardboard trees have held up as good or better than the ones intended to be more permanent. I’m super impressed.

Considering how much my cats like to chew up cardboard, I thought this might be a fun item for them to play in/with. And I was right! I am extremely pleased with this purchase despite having been sent the wrong item originally. (The return was easy and the item I originally ordered was shipped immediately.) Surprisingly sturdy, it’s held together with no staples or tape. A great design! There are three scratching boards in it and one on the outside. My cats love it and three of them can play with it at the same time. It even comes with two cardboard toys – which my cats destroyed immediately, but had fun doing it! (Haha) The third toy that was included with the purchase, I removed, as it was connected to a wire spring and I thought could potentially be harmful. All in all, it is, and was, a very good purchase and I will consider buying it again when this one wears out.

We have 6 cats, two of which are Maine Coons. They’re big. One of our other cats is quite chonky. This little cat house can hold all of them! It even stands up to rough play from our Maine Coon “kitten” (he’s 8 months old but already 11 pounds and plays hard). All of our cats seem to enjoy this thing, and have all checked it out. I wasn’t sure if cardboard would support their weight, but it does. Our kitten likes chewing on it, so it already looks like it was involved in a shoot out, but other than that it’s in great shape. I’ll definitely get another one at some point!

It’s all made from plain uncoated cardboard. Nice and sturdy, tabs fit snugly without being difficult to assemble. Room for two ~6 lb rabbits to fit comfortably in the bottom level with two doors. The upper level has two smaller doors that might be too small for a rabbit to jump into, but they could easily jump out. And the front door at the top of the ramp is easy enough for them to get in. There are also cat scratchers to lay in the bottom level so they don’t immediately dig or chew down to the ground.

This probably cost them like $5 it’s just a bunch of cardboard you fit together, but well designed. and instructions are easy to follow. Any cat will love this took no time at all for ours to investigate and start playing with it.
