This is a great little kettle! This is my first electric kettle and I’m honestly shocked at how fast it heats to temperature…seconds. looks great and easy to use.

Pros: water boils fast, temperature can be shown in C or F, nice aesthetic, decent ergonomics. Great customer service in response to the addressed flaws. The cons below may not be the deal breaker to some.
Cons: Each touch makes a tone that cannot be muted. While temperature can be raised by 1 or 5 units, it’s much slower than knob operation, this is when the tone becomes annoying.

Let me start with the only 3 “negatives” I can come up with….. the power cord is ridiculously short, you’re getting one 16-20 oz cup of coffee per heating cycle and the damned thing beeps EVERY time you take the pot off the base. None of these 3 are so bad that I wouldn’t recommend the purchase. You can adjust a single degree at a time or use the presets. I’m a pour over guy, so I have the temp set at 198. Most others only have a 205 preset, which is close, but not what I wanted. It heats pretty quickly, which is good bc you’ll be filling it between brews, unless you are an actual 8 oz coffee person. Do people actually only drink an 8 oz cup of Joe anymore??

I have had many electric kettles and one that also was supposed to hold temperature. That one died after two years. It was twice as expensive so I bought this cheaper one. A mistake. Temperature gauge is not reliable which is a problem if you want to switch between green teas and black teas and it certainly doesn’t maintain accurately. I like the pouring spout.

I contacted KOIOS and expressed my disappointment with the kettle. They apologized, understood the faulty appliance malfunctions and sent me another tea kettle. It came promptly and works like a charm. I recommend Koios highly as a company. They stand by their product and make sure the customer’s (at least this customer!) reasonable expectations are met. Thank you Koios and also their courteous representatives.

I bought it only 2 months ago and it has mold and rust in it. I keep it clean. Outside of the return window now but more importantly I’ve been having an unexplainable sore throat as of late and I think I just figured out why. This product should not be allowed to be sold anymore. Rust and mold in an item that’s meant to heat water is just stupid.

I love this kettle! It’s beautiful and well-made. Boils water fast and is relatively quiet. Best part is that it’s completely stainless steel on the inside with no plastic parts. The gooseneck allows me to make excellent pour-over coffee.
