I’ve been getting some of the “not-name-brand” brick kits. And they have been good. Obviously, the design of this one is terrific, with lots of little detail fans of brick models like, but I just got this and I can tell right off the bat as I do the first plate the actual manufacturing of the bricks in terms of tension is terrific as are the printed instructions. The instruction book opens up flat. The colors are clear, with outlines of each section, but the real good thing is they don’t just show the brick, but in a circle is a number of the size/number of studs of the brick. Wow! And the precision of the bricks is really, really good. Not too tight, not too soft. Wow again! Granted, I’m just at the beginning, but it is that impressive. If my impression changes when I’m done with the build I will certainly correct this initial impression.

This is a great set! Very easy to assemble but doesn’t look elementary! It is very nice! A lot of detail and every piece was provided (no missing pieces). Putting a set together from start to finish without any missing pieces is always a plus. We even added lights of our own! Love this one and would recommend!!

This is a wonderful set to build. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Pieces are bagged in 15 sets in the order you need them so it’s easy to keep them organized. The details inside the gym and the bakery are nicer than what I come to expect from the brand name street view sets. The top floor isn’t exciting but the other two are great. Outside is well polished, great addition to the street view block. I hope this brand comes out with more sets like this.

Micro bricks just want you to know just regular lego size bricks.

I bought this for my wife. She said it went together well with the instructions being very clear and easy to understand. She felt like in some ways it was a sturdier build than Lego brand. There we a couple of weak points detailed in the pictures. On the rear of the house almost any bump would knock off the end of the water down spout. And the same went for the fire hydrant on the corner. It is really a problem with the design of the little nub, it just isn’t substantial enough so the part easily comes off. But otherwise it was a fun build that looks great and was pretty cheap but didn’t feel that way while building or upon completion.

The short review: A big, very high-quality modular building with 2600+ parts, extensive and clever interior detailing, and–unlike Lego modulars–four fully detailed exterior sides, all for way less money than what Lego would charge for something similar.
The longer review for brick geeks:
Packaging: Heavy duty cardboard with simple but attractive graphics. The images are misleading insofar as the lighting makes the roof look pinkish. It’s actually–thank goodness–a dark burnt red. Overall the look and feel of the packaging seem more “premium” than Lego boxes, which feel a bit cheap.
Stickers or prints? Top-quality prints only. No stickers. (Lego, take note.)
Bricks: The bricks are very close to Lego in look and feel. No molding defects or missing parts. Some of the tiles are a bit scuffed, and there are some micro scratches on some of the clear parts but nothing outrageous or distracting. Fortunately, most of the clear parts come in their own bags to prevent scratches. Clutch power is generally a tad tighter than Lego (think Cobi). Unlike Lego, there are no quality control issues with color consistency: all bricks of each color match each other well. One unfortunate oddity: the 2×2 jumper tiles all have an engraved square around the central stud, so they don’t match the totally smooth plain tiles esthetically.
Manual: Quality paper and printing with clear, easily followed instructions.
Building Stages and Steps: Fourteen stages with numbered bags. 473 building steps.
Lighting: No lighting included. (Compare Funwhole or some Cada sets that come with lighting.)
Minifigures: None.
Design: A mixed bag. The exterior detailing feels too gauche, too exuberant, too “gingerbread house,” for my taste, but that’s obviously subjective. It lacks the esthetic refinement and unity of the best Lego modulars, like the Parisian Restaurant. A few simple modifications can tone things down, however. If you’re making a street scene or city, the color scheme matches nicely with Lego’s modular bookstore. The core design of a gym poised atop a bakery is either incongruous or cheekily amusing, depending on your point of view. The set is loaded with tons of detail inside and out, which, while not challenging for an experienced builder, is nevertheless fun to build and look at. In fact, the quality and amount of detailing makes some of Lego’s modulars feel a bit rushed and lazy by comparison.
Overall, this is a fine example of the new wave of Lego competitors beating Lego at their own game, with a top-quality product priced for way, way less.

This is an intermediate kit in my view. Use a good glue where needed. No falling apart that way. The details are outstanding. The directions can be dark in places in the manual, as another reviewer reported. A bright light solves this. At times I even used the flashlight on my phone.
Great gift for an adult builder.
With this kit I would take my time. You will enjoy the result. This would make a perfect gift for any adult builder regardless of age. I am 69. Look out Lego.

Clutch-power slightly higher than lego.
Ground floor is dark brown.
Second and 3rd floors are medium nougat.
Roof is dark red.
Colors are slightly different than lego colors. But they look great. The medium nougat in particular has more of an orange tinge to it compared to the lego color.
The ground floor bakery uses “Shallow blue ash” colored tiles for the flooring, which is a color that doesn’t even exist in lego. It looks amazing.
The model itself is very detailed on each and every floor as well as the roof.
I had more fun building this than any lego set.
