Very very happy with this purchase. Finding anything for a harp can be challenging…I was very glad to find these strings.

These strings come in 4 sets. Each set has one long clear string that you have to cut yourself to the correct length (mostly into 3 sections). No lengths are given so you have to go find a chart somewhere to know each strings correct length. Given that, even cut correctly, there is BARELY enough to knot and wind, much less enough to do it comfortably. Those lengths should have at least an additional inch or two to use properly. Precut, C’s and F’s were adequate length. I will look for another company that pre-cuts and packages all individual strings next time.

I have a 19 string Pakistani harp and I had no clue where to buy strings, or if they were even available. These are perfect and many come pre-cut. I simply used common sense (as well as a diagram that I found online) to replace my old set. Worked like a charm and I’m back to strumming my harp!

In this package you get F3 to C6 in four envelopes total. You will need to cut the strings to the correct length for the clear strings, but the red and blue are pre-cut to the correct lengths. I bought this pack for a 15 string two octave harp (C4 to C6) and they worked out fabulously – it was the best way to get the right octaves for me, so I didn’t mind tossing the few extras I didn’t need (F3-B3). They are DuPont Tynex nylon strings and were more resonant than I was expecting. I’ve attached a chart that I found helpful when I was looking these up – it lists the strings included with the diameters, lengths, pitches, and colours. Happy harping!
