It’s straight to the point. Doesn’t need an application to install on your Mac so if you have an old Mac from 2016 like me, you’re set. I had a very old interface and it ended up being staticy sounding when I would record. Now I can record with clean sound. (ERA DAZE)

UPDATE: Suddenly I’m getting an insane amount of static in my recordings. Even with NO INPUT there is still static on recordings and in my headphones. Also, I suddenly cannot hear my own inputs without terrible distortion. This makes recording impossible for me now. I did everything you can imagine to get this static to go away but absolutely nothing worked. It’s a shame because for the very short time that it worked, it worked wonderfully. Sadly, I will be returning this unit and going with something else.
I bought this to replace an interface that cost over twice as much as this unit. The sound quality is noticeably better. My mic stands out better in the headphones and the sound is much clearer. With this I am able to record vocals a serious producer considers “pretty good.” If it’s good enough for a professional, then it’s great for me.

I had a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 that my son lost…he likes to steal my stuff to use it without permission, and then often loses it LOL! I ran across this and decided to try it. It basically is the same. The only problem I had, as others had mentioned, was downloading the driver. One website didn’t work, and then the one that was crossed out did work. It was a bit confusing. After that, it worked perfectly fine. I use it for home music recording, and it seems to record just as well as my Focusrite did. I don’t publish music or anything, just share it with family and friends, so I don’t need ultra-high quality (and frankly, I’m not sure I’d know the difference). This is perfectly fine for my needs. One star was deducted for the driver issue.

I’ve been using a PreSonus io24 for work and wanted an interface of my own. The io24 is pretty on par with the Scarlet 2i2 and I figured this unit was pretty much a clone given the product name. I have to say, so far I am very impressed. The back is pretty barebones with just a USB-C power outlet and the L/R 1/4″ jacks. I plugged it in and it was plug and play. There were some instructions on downloading some drivers but I don’t think I had to do anything. It shows up on my PC at YUER Audio Interface and works fantastic. I’ve recorded some vocals and guitar into the XLR port and it sounds great. The audio coming through the headphones is OK too, could be louder, but I could also use a headphone amplifier. It has the 48v phantom power but I still use a cloud-lifter with my Shure mic and everything sounds just as good as with the PreSonus unit really, it just doesn’t have the fancy software with it. For the price though, it’s hard to beat. This is a great little introductory interface if you only need the one input and don’t want to fork over a bunch of money to get started recording.

Ordered this audio interface to power my Beyerdynamic DT770s and Elgato wave DX microphone and ended up getting a faulty unit out of the box. There was a loud electrical feedback coming from the unit when trying to record, especially noticable when you activate the mic monitor button. When mic monitor is disabled I did notice that it at least provides my headphones with enough juice for decently high volume at max. Can’t fully speak for the mic audio quality since I could never really test. Might be worth the money if you get a good unit but I opted out for returning and going with an alternative name brand product even though it was more out of my budget.

Took a chance on this brand, but I am highly recommending. That said I am no pro, but I do care about my sound. My DAW and computer hooked up without me having to jump through hoops or run to youstube. It was clean and clear, with no issues from volume or latency. Way happy

Disable my anti-virus software and download driver from a 3rd party source…. I don’t think so
I followed the directions in the owners manual for use with Windows OS and it will not work. It’s not plug and play unless you have a Mac. Windows users have to download a driver which failed to install correctly. After 3 hours I got fed up and returned it ti Amazon.
I am purchasing a similar product from a competitor for the same price and it includes the mixer software.
