This product is unsustainable and not necessary for hydroponics. Rockwool is one of the worst media for starting seeds. Difficulties with shipping/fullfillment on this also.

They are a bit smaller than I expected so I had to make sure I used a very sharp knife to separate the cubes. If you tear one, you’ve ruined the whole cube. With that being said, it works just as well as the more expensive rock wool cubes.

These work as they should. They are easy to use. The seeds spout well in them. The block easily allows root growth. They are a great price. I will be buying more. I love them.

The media could not be loaded.
I’m not sure if there’s fiberglass or what… but there’s something that was in these cubes. When I would break them up it would tear easily and you’d see dust (same color as cube) and whatnot fill the air, which is cool. But that stuff settled on my skin (thighs) and when I tried to wipe it off, i gout several little cuts and welps and it hurt 😭 it could be the norm with these cubes cause it was my first time using them, but either way I didn’t like it.
Also don’t like how they don’t tear on the lines and the cubes can get messed up and that it easily grows algae so the cube is only beneficial for about 1-2 weeks tops before the algae comes in.
